scpa0305 Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 Wasn't there a loud party complaint at one of the players house after they got back from a regional? I forget whose house it was. That's why I said I believe at chorneys house.. I am not sure whose place it was at but the cops got them. seems like they aim to get them. Oh....I thought you were talking about this years incident. yzerman19 Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 GF police have never had anything better to do than bust underagers having some fun...we all got minors in high school..just lame...in Minnneapolis...no minors Quote
gfhockey Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 I almost hate being a part of the good ole boys getting inside info. usually its bad info Quote
gfhockey Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 just got word from the club the herald will have a story about it tomorrow after we broke the story. Quote
choyt3 Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 just got word from the club the herald will have a story about it tomorrow after we broke the story. "We broke the story"- Good one. Where are the names from your "sources"? Otherwise your story is nothing more than college kids drink; police bust party; kids get tickets. Is it 1985? Quote
SWSiouxMN Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 Well he is right, once you do a public record search. Quote
gfhockey Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 I will never relinquish my sources. that would be dumb of me. Quote
choyt3 Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 Well he is right, once you do a public record search. Who has time for that? I'm shocked that the info is available on a public records search when gfhockey's good old boys broke the story. hmmm.... coincidence? Maybe gfhockey is Schlossman? Quote
choyt3 Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 I will never relinquish my sources. that would be dumb of me. YOU are the sources, if you are indeed in the good old boys club. And I think you might mean reveal. Quote
RollTribe Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 It was Thompson, Murphy, and I can't find a third person. Could have easily missed it though because I just quickly went down the roster. Both got minor in possession, and refusing to halt - B Misdemeanors http://publicsearch.ndcourts.gov/CaseDetail.aspx?CaseID=2876580 http://publicsearch.ndcourts.gov/CaseDetail.aspx?CaseID=2876711 Quote
RollTribe Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 Ahh, you're right. Searched "Luke" instead of "Lucas." He didn't get refusing to halt though, just a minor in possession/consumption. http://publicsearch.ndcourts.gov/CaseDetail.aspx?CaseID=2876656 Quote

The Sicatoka Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 Let me say it again: We're always just a lawn mower toss away from the next issue. Quote
RollTribe Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 How big of an issue is this? Each player suspended for a couple games? Quote
Goon Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 How big of an issue is this? Each player suspended for a couple games? There class B Misdemeanors. They're minor incidents. Quote
gfhockey Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 I don't really care about dirnking part of it as that's just boys will be boys and hard nose Sioux hockey players celebrating the season but the refusing to halt is kind of what bothers me Quote
scpa0305 Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 To me...this is a non-issue. Boys will be boys...they got minors, who cares. We all did. If it is true they tried to bolt, I still don't care as we all tried to bolt when the police showed up to a party. Again, this is a laugher as what else to the GFPD have to do, seriously. I bet this made the front page of the Herald didn't it? Now if one of the was blasted at the wheel, got into an accident and hurt somebody....entirely different deal. Quote

Disappointing but it's been happening since the dawn of college - now it just gives the trolls something to focus on rather than their own team. Quote

Agreed, two of my buddies went and played for the Goofs, my friends and I would head down to the Cities all the time and party with them. Believe me, these guys party and they have great benefits due to their "hockey player status". I was actually partying in Blarney's the year before they all got busted (yes, I was underage as well). This college and we're dealing with kids that are doing the same things we all did. Quote
