AZSIOUX Posted January 17, 2014 Posted January 17, 2014 A sweep could be big in the pairwise per Jim's breakdown! Go Sioux!! UND 4-1 Quote
Oxbow6 Posted January 17, 2014 Posted January 17, 2014 BSU has won only 3 of 14 home games this season. #4 won't come tonight...3-1 w ENG to seal it. Quote
stoneySIOUX Posted January 17, 2014 Posted January 17, 2014 I think we stay hot. Net a couple ones early and we could be in for our biggest goal total of the year. Bemidji keeps us under 3 goals, I think it's a close one, but I don't think they will... 6-1 good guys... Parks, Rocco, Gaarder, Mark x2, Mattson... Zane with 20 saves. Quote
siouxweet Posted January 17, 2014 Posted January 17, 2014 I see a 3-2, 2-1 type game, other than last fri against cc they have have a hard time scoring three let alone 4 goals or 6. bemidji is a decent team that gives und fits. Quote
KSSioux Posted January 17, 2014 Posted January 17, 2014 Bottom line is if we do not get a sweep or a win/tie out of this all of the pairwise prognostications can go out the window. I see splits in the future with teams we would need to sweep to improve the pairwise, so our chance to go to the tourney would have to rely on a friendly Target Center. Quote
hrkac Posted January 17, 2014 Posted January 17, 2014 Bemidji always plays hard and gives UND a game every time they meet. Factor in UND's lack of goal scoring this year and this weekend could be a treat for fans that like 1-0, 2-1 games. Although the games may be snoozers in my opinion, it's critical that UND does just enough to win both and they should. 2-1 UND in OT Friday / 4-2 UND Saturday at Home. Get the Sweep Boys! Quote
bcblues Posted January 17, 2014 Posted January 17, 2014 Bemidji can be a real spoiler. We had better go in playing well and never slack off, which has been a problem this season. It is those 5 minute lapses that have really hurt us. Quote
The Whistler Posted January 17, 2014 Posted January 17, 2014 Comeon Sioux, pound those Beavers. Quote
90siouxfan Posted January 17, 2014 Posted January 17, 2014 Bar in Bismarck that would have tonights game? except BWW Quote
keikla Posted January 17, 2014 Posted January 17, 2014 I certainly hope that the veterans have warned the newbies about Bemidji. On paper, they may be easy to overlook. But despite the predominantly winning record against them, they always play the Sioux tough. I love your sig quote, 90siouxfan. Duncan is so talented and yet so humble. Quote
AZSIOUX Posted January 17, 2014 Author Posted January 17, 2014 @SchlossmanGF: One big surprise for BSU. Goalie Jesse Wilkins, who has started 6 of the last 8, isn't dressed. Veteran Andrew Walsh starts. Quote
AZSIOUX Posted January 17, 2014 Author Posted January 17, 2014 21 Brendan O’Donnell–16 Mark MacMillan–15 Michael Parks 28 Stephane Pattyn–13 Connor Gaarder–11 Derek Rodwell 9 Drake Caggiula–19 Rocco Grimaldi–27 Luke Johnson 29 Bryn Chyzyk–17 Colten St. Clair–7 Wade Murphy 18 Dillon Simpson–24 Jordan Schmaltz 5 Nick Mattson–6 Paul LaDue 20 Gage Ausmus–2 Troy Stecher 31 Zane Gothberg Quote
Oxbow6 Posted January 17, 2014 Posted January 17, 2014 Same forward lines as last week. I like the line of Colton Bryn and Murphy to play well tonight. Quote
Oxbow6 Posted January 17, 2014 Posted January 17, 2014 Zane can not give up an early softie tonight. Quote
Upper Deck Posted January 17, 2014 Posted January 17, 2014 @SchlossmanGF: One big surprise for BSU. Goalie Jesse Wilkins, who has started 6 of the last 8, isn't dressed. Veteran Andrew Walsh starts. Out with a lower body injury. Walsh has been solid. Quote
greenwinger_13 Posted January 17, 2014 Posted January 17, 2014 I heard the game is on PBS now i'm starting to think that's not the case? If so what da heck channel is that? Quote
sprig Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 Directv? Lakeland Public TV, if it's one of the local networks where you live Quote
Wilbur Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 Honestly......why can't UND score on Faragher? I'm watching western tear him up for 4 goals half way through and likely to have more. Be big for UND if Western beat SCSU tonight. Lets go Broncos....right Broncos? Crap, what are they.... Quote

It's been a really good game so far, better then watching the sorriest teams in the B1G play before the outdoor game. Quote
Sodbuster Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 For those of you watching on MIDCO, the radio feed of Hennesey seems to be right on synch with the TV. Quote
AZSIOUX Posted January 18, 2014 Author Posted January 18, 2014 Solid play for UND! Keep skating like that and PP's will follow! Quote
