JohnboyND7 Posted November 21, 2013 Posted November 21, 2013 The outcome of this game will be simple. After playing for 4 hours and 6 overtimes the game will end in a tie due to lack of players for each team. Braun and Huff will be ejected in the first overtime for fighting and the final three players from both teams will be walk-ons, everyone else will have fouled out. That's how close this game will be for the entire contest. Can they settle it with either a dance-off or a dunk contest? or interpretive dunking? Quote
Teeder11 Posted November 21, 2013 Posted November 21, 2013 Can they settle it with either a dance-off or a dunk contest? or interpretive dunking? Or they could see who could collect the most petition signatures. Oh crap, scratch that ... we'd get our cans kicked. Quote
CMSioux Posted November 21, 2013 Posted November 21, 2013 With proper training from the football team they could collect 10,000+ signatures in the sold-out Betty alone (and never leave the locker room.) 1 Quote
Cratter Posted November 21, 2013 Posted November 21, 2013 UND needs to jump out to an early lead to get the crowd into it so the Bison doesnt take the crowd out of it. The crowd will be a big factor. Quote
southpaw Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 50 tickets remain for the game. Student tickets sold out yesterday Where is the line of people waiting to call out the general public like they call out the students who don't get tickets to football? Quote
homer Posted November 24, 2013 Posted November 24, 2013 Looking forward to the game tonight and a good atmosphere. Quote

Don't worry about public fan support per the tweet below. Kudos to the students for doing their part. Would be great if we could see this kind of fan support all around this season moving forward and beyond. 4m UND Men's Basketball @UNDMBasketball Don't plan on any walk-up tickets being available - less than 20 remain for rivalry clash with NDSU at The Betty at 5 pm #BigSkyMBB ExpandReplyRetweetFavorite Quote
SiouxVolley Posted November 24, 2013 Posted November 24, 2013 UND by six. Anderson with late free throws to ice it. Quote
jdub27 Posted November 24, 2013 Posted November 24, 2013 Going to be a great atmosphere tonight. Should be a good game. Pretty simple game plan for UND, contain Bjorklund. He's been in some foul trouble this year as well, attack him early and see if you can't get one or two quick ones on him. Huff won't go huge, will be using a little more energy chasing around Braun, but will get his. Hooker will show NDSU what they missed out on. Nash with a couple plays that blow the roof off the building. Will be interesting to see if Stefan gets into the rotation. If him or Schuler get going, look out. Quote
geaux_sioux Posted November 24, 2013 Posted November 24, 2013 Buck the Fison, I look forward to hearing a start your tractors chant as the clock winds down. 1 Quote

We won't see a big man of his skill set in the Big Sky. We need to get him in early foul trouble but I think the only way we do that is by attacking the rim. Not sure if any of our bigs are enough of an offensive threat to put any pressure on him. Quote

Absolutely. Just be happy that the UND grad who owns the farm and the tractors let you drive it to the game... 2 Quote

If you want to stay in the same price range "start your Bugatti" would probably be closer. Although if I had one I probably wouldn't mind starting it. Quote
darell1976 Posted November 24, 2013 Posted November 24, 2013 Game is officially sold out!! Go UND!! Quote
sioux2013 Posted November 24, 2013 Posted November 24, 2013 Heading to the game shortly. Curious to see who starts at post. Still think Nash should slide down to post and start Webb, Anderson, Huff, Schuler, Nash. Get our best out there with the most experience and ability to score. Quote

SiouxFan100 Posted November 24, 2013 Posted November 24, 2013 Let's win this thing. Make some free throws. Go hard to the basket and get su in foul trouble. Don't let Felt have too many open shots. Not have too many unforced turnovers. Looking forward to it. Quote

Bjorklund got in trouble trying to draw charges the last few games. I can see us getting to the rim and putting pressure on him. Be interesting if Nash posts him up and uses his athleticism, though not sure how much of a post game Nash has. Wouldn't mind seeing a little full court pressure as well, NDSU has shown they struggle some against that. Quote
