Wilbur Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 Mad scramble in front. Dean's going to win and he looks like someone shot his dog. Although he did smile last week after they beat UND. Quote
MafiaMan Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 Hmnnnn...for all the doomsday preppers on this site whining about last week's performance in Omaha, maybe the Mavericks aren't as bad as originally thought? Or should Red Berenson have been fired 10 minutes after last night's game ended? Quote

Goon Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 based off of these stats one could say und is the tech or anchorage of the nchc. Come on now, that's all you can infer from these stats? Okay... You guys realize that's it's early and the season is a bunch of games over the course of the season and this is just a snap shot of the first 2-8 games... Holy Cow... I would conclud UND isn't a bunch of goons like Gopher fans like to point out. Also, UND isn't scoring a lot of goals right now. Our power play is actually third in the conference. Seems like it's heading toward trend. When have we ever ranked dead last in scoring D in the last 10 years... And we're not even close to 7th. We aren't spending a ton of time on the PK, so this suggests to me that we either have terrible goaltending or we just don't possess the puck very much. I lean toward the latter. Quote

I would also chalk it up to lack of puck possession. Our goaltenders are up and down, but they aren't terrible. Sometimes we just look like we are chasing our own tails around the ice trying to find and get possession of the puck. Quote

Green shades. Now, that's funny... So what do you guys suggest? Fire Hakstol? Write a check, it's going to take over a million to get a new coach. Just saying. The University is going to be on the hook for 150,000.00 for a football coach. Not going to happen, even if they have a losing season this year. UND isn't going to fire him. Hak is the only active division I coach never to have a losing season in every year that he's coached. take off the green shades boys and put down the kool aid! pick up a beer and put on the oakleys! we just aren't that good! So, I am going to on record and say this. Mafia Man says UND's going to the NCHC championship. I say that UND's going to the NCAA's this season. Hey, lets go, tell me I am wrong. I have seen improvement over the last four games. After losing four in a row, they have gone 2-1 in their last three games... Last I checked that's a winning record. Right?
