Siouxperfan7 Posted August 31, 2016 Posted August 31, 2016 Any quarterback that is worth throwing out there as a starter has to be at least listed as the #2 on a teams depth chart. And teams aren't going to trade that player for nothing because the same thing could happen to them. Backups are important, especially in times likes these. In order for the Vikes to get a legitimate #2 QB, they are going to have to give up a lot. Especially considering the team trading them knows the Vikes are desperate. Spielman likes to build through the draft and doesn't like to make big splashy trades that gives up draft picks. But this may be a time where he may abandon that strategy. We will see. Quote

Are they fueling up the jet for the trip to Mississippi yet? The old gunslinger just might have one more season left... 1 Quote
fightingsioux4life Posted August 31, 2016 Posted August 31, 2016 In Zimmer We Trust The Vikings will find a veteran to fill in for 2016 and will continue getting better on defense and in the running game behind a much better offensive line. Remember, Mike Tice isn't in charge anymore. Quote
Blackheart Posted August 31, 2016 Posted August 31, 2016 Randall Cunningham or Jeff George still available? Quote

U know what I'd seriously love to see Favre for one more year & I believe he could do a great job It would be a interesting year Plus I could wear my only Viking Jersey again Imagine how pizzed off the puker fans would be - they may want their #4 back again give it to the locker room custodian I do think Brett & Zim might butt heads Quote

UNDMOORHEAD Posted September 3, 2016 Posted September 3, 2016 Seems like a steep price to pay for a injury prone guy who wanted out of Philly anyway. Hope it works out. I thought the vikings were contenders this season if TB had shown some improvement from last season. Quote
Fetch Posted September 3, 2016 Author Posted September 3, 2016 I kinda like it Teddy was our hope in the future Hill & Bradford have to be as good as Teddy now. So it could happen Quote
Prison_Mike Posted September 3, 2016 Posted September 3, 2016 Word is Wentz will start week one if he is healthly. Talk about getting fed to the wolves with very little preseason play. As a ND kid I wish him the best. Quote
