Frozen4sioux Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 Though series every year...fun place to go for a game always a good pile of SIOUX fans. Wish i was heading down. Quote
Wilbur Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 Need to get bodies in front of Farragher. He sees it he stops it. UND won the season series 3-2 last year, but without him playing out of his mind a couple of times it could have been 5-0 for UND. Split on the road. UND wins Friday night, SCSU rights the ship on Saturday. PS: Will Hanowski play? Quote

Goes against this year's trend. I think a split is a given though. Knight, Rowney and Easy Mac need to step up offensively. Kristo has been dynamic as has Rocco. Been getting good minutes from Gaarder and some freshman, but Knight and Rowney specifically need to start burying their grade A chances. Quote

Goes against this year's trend. I think a split is a given. Was just gonna bring that up and how it is about the opposite of what has happened this year, I'm gonna say we get the sweep this weekend in a couple close low scoring games. The key will be to make Farragher uncomfortable and be better in finishing around the net. Quote
sioux rube Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 Trend continues except after the friday night victory the Sioux manage a tie on saturday for a 3 point weekend. We do get points this weekend right? Quote

UND loses Friday, rebounds on Saturday to right the ship. Quote
Goon Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 I have followed UND for a long time and some good teams have gone to SCSU and gotten little points. I remember the 2000 team only getting a tie one weekend. Quote
Siouxman Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 Mike Lee is no longer goalie at SCSU, so there is no guaranteed win. 2 Quote
Siouxman Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 Although I have been there a few times, I really don't like going to the National House of Concrete. I can't say suck often enough to carry on a conversation with an SCSU fan. Quote
CMSioux Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 Actually the SCSU Booster Club is very welcoming. Sioux fans are invited to their pre-game social usually Saturday afternoon - need to check their website for time and location - it's called the Center Ice Club I believe. Have a little empathy they don't have the facility, the history or the recruiting muscle that UND has. They are a perpetual center dweller and probably worse in the new conference. Quote
hrkac Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 Mike Lee is no longer goalie at SCSU, so there is no guaranteed win. Hahaa...good one. he has more wins in the minor leagues than he ever did vs. UND. zero! Quote
jodcon Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 Never easy to win in the Mausoleum, they get up for this series. Quote
Boy Named Sioux Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 I'll take "Split" for $2000 please Alex. Would like to say 3 points, but...can't. I also predict the "Tripple A" line is gonna heat up. Quote
Goon Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 Mike Lee is no longer goalie at SCSU, so there is no guaranteed win. The guy was 0-6-1 against UND. Quote
Wilbur Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 Always wonder what had happened if Mike Lee ended up at UND. Would Eidsness or Dell never seen the light of day in Grand Forks? Mike Lee never played great against UND, but it took that Farragher one game to beat Lee. Got to get to him early and don't let his confidence build. Quote
petey23 Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 Favorite road trip of the year for me normally! Heading to Florida over thanksgiving so probably gonna skip it this year for first time in probably 10 years. Quote

Mike Lee didn't come here because Eidsness already committed by that time, and he wanted to play right away as a true freshman, so he took SCSU's offer. If Lee would have deferred two years, I'm guessing Dell wouldn't have came here. Quote
GoalieMask Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 Schloss tweets Saturday's night's game will be on NESN (available on DirecTV and Dish). Does anyone know if it might be picked up by one of the Fox College Sports channels -- sometimes they show a NESN telecast or a ROOT Sports telecast. Quote
GoalieMask Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 Sorry, more info here regarding Saturday telecast on DirecTV and Dish -- Channels 628/434 Quote
Kooshnitz Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 Anyone else going? What side are the Sioux shooting twice to? Thinking about getting tickets tonight. Never been to the National Center before. Should be the 101 end right? Quote

Never been to the National Center before. Should be the 101 end right? That's correct, the Sioux will shoot twice at the west end goal/Section 101 end. Quote
