With him being on the U17 team, I would guess the earliest that we would see him at UND would be 2012 or 2013. Glad to see another quality forward but ... For those people that want to see a dman recruit or two added, there are only two uncommitted dmen on the roster. Also on the team is Matt Van Voorhis, who was rumored to be a Sioux fan before committing to DU. UND plays an exhibition against the U18 team on 12/18. Colton St. Clair with a goal in each of his two outings this week, and Mattson with 3 assists and 5 shots in Chicago win tonight. Can't wait until the regular season starts. Mattson had a great high school career and is still very talented. I think the Hak and company recognized that he needed to work on a few things in juniors, namely not being shy about going into the corners.
