The drive has significant focus on endowments across campus. I’m talking athletic endowmeny und current fundraising is for the champions club with is equivalent to their team makers each athletic dept has their own endowment as well and Chavez isn’t doing a great job 1 Quote

It should be there every other year. The West Side of the state has some nice facilities. Sounds like it won't be back until 2030, which is a shame. It was at NDSU 2 years ago and when I heard what NDSU charged to host the tournament my first thought was someone needs to lose there job over this. It cost the state a lot of money. The agreement the Albrecht's had with UND was the cost to Youth teams would be very minimal. Basically enough to pay for the cost of someone opening it up and electricity. I see the Class B tournament is at NDSU this year. Kind of pisses me off that they are hosting again after what they pulled 2 years ago. Also NDSU does not even have lights. That caused problems 2 years ago when W. Fargo's game was set to start late on Thursday because of weather and it had to be moved to Friday morning. It was unfair to those teams having to play 2 games on Friday. Pat Johnson (West Fargo coach at the time) raised a big stink and suggested it never go back to NDSU because of lack of lights. 1 2 Quote
FSSD Posted June 20 Posted June 20 Is the outdoor track being installed this summer or has that project been pushed out? Quote

FSSD Posted June 21 Posted June 21 I was just curious if this was going to happen because nothing had been discussed about it since last fall. Sounds like it is in progress. It will be interesting to see everything finished. I think the Fieldhouse is schedule for an Aug completion. I think that finishes everything in the Athletic District. 1 Quote
