I heard at Hawk Talk last night that Spring Practices start tomorrow(Thursday March 19th). They had to move it due to players still coming back from Spring Break.

At Hawk Talk last night they had Schmidt on and he said it will be on April 18th at 12:30.

Spring ball starts today! Hoping this is the year UND finally gets the depth needed throughout the entire roster.

I have been thinking alot, do alot of UND football fans who have stayed loyal  through the FCS years start following NDSU now that it has moved to FBS? Does it hurt UND football and its following just as the FCS move for NDSU did?

I was wondering. Down the road now when NDSU might have a one game post season some years playing a meaningless game are the bison fans going to be disinterested and start following and supporting UND football on their journey to a national title. We might start to increase our fan base. Fun to see what will happen.

Maybe you should wonder about und fans supporting a FB team in a watered down FCS?  18 of the playoff teams are terrible.  So if your fans love beating up on UST and Murry State of the world you'll get your wish.

Things will change again when the power 4 split and have their own playoff and bowl games , the lower FBs will be looking for more fcs schools to join and form their own bowl games and playoffs

its coming , the way I’ve read the power 4 wouldn’t play the other lower FBs teams, who knows 

and who will be able to compete with NIL $, to me it’s a bad investment

if congress wasn’t so incompetent they would step in

I'd be more interested to see if UND hockey loses NDSU fans. This is the first time that shithole school has its top sport in the second highest level (G5 is not P4).

Do those down south with dual loyalties still come to the flagship to see a top team in the top conference at the top level?

Eighteen of the teams were terrible during the Moo U run also - does that water down their championships?

Didn't have 24 teams for most of them and a lot of the top teams then are now FBS.  FCS is slowly going the way of D2

Yeah and NDSU is still basically D2. G5 vs P4 gap remains just that wide. Difference is NDSU paid $20M just to paint an illusion whereas other top FCS teams are being strategic while still being able to compete for real championships in January. What pathetic fragile egos in Fargo …
