• JUCO rulings. Wiltshire, Samuels Parker, Walker, Scott. Can they get any of those guys back for another year? Unpopular opinion, but UND losing 4 impact players, is a lot compared to NDSU's - 0, SDSU's - 1, wait on USD. If they can get any of those guys, IMO, it would cancel out an impact player for player

What I have seen is they don't have a specific date on to when we will know about these decisions? Unless someone smarter can figure that out? A lot of this stuff is still in court also so it sounds like its just a player by player basis and they will get to it whenever they can.

You have to hand it to USD--they seem do a good job of identifying RB prospects. Phillips wasn't even supposed to be the starter this year.

I just combine portal entries with graduating players and still like where UND is at.  A majority of both lines back and QB are so important.  I still think the hardest player we have to replace is McNeal at LB

I think the additions to the defensive line will help with loosing McNeal. We will be able to find a field general in the portal. Need at true Mike.

One thing we’ve always proven cable of is replacing good LBs. Couple years here and there lacking for sure but in general we have had good LBs. I’m not concerned. Plus, I like the guys who will replace him.

Parks and Devereaux will get a lot of time. Do you think they go get an additional LB from the portal? Boll played a bit last year, and they brought in Starcevic. Don’t know enough about the other young guys to know whether they can contribute next year or not. I always get PTSD from 2017, when poor Rastas had to get thrown out there. (And actually held his own at times)

I think Theo Grace will make an impact at LB next year. Same high school as Noland and the Beavers. Was the KC metro defensive player of the year in 2024.

In my memory over the last 25 years we have only had 1 or 2 years were we havent had a good to great LB on our team.

Never can have too many good players never hurts to get good players in the portal. So I think they will try.

I just don’t feel that Parks will be a starter next year. Maybe to start the year.

Rastas became my favorite player that year. He may have been 190, but he put his body into every play against a OL who had him by a hundred pounds or a QB whole had him by 50 ponds

He was a real JYD. Just wasn’t big enough and couldn’t add weight unfortunately. At 220-230 he would’ve been a Dan Hendrickson type LB.

Other than huge cash or oppty to play with a brother etc. I don’t really understand some of these kids. Lots of talented RBs in FBS sit on the pine.

I believe that he had FBS schools looking at him in HS.  But, he blew out his knee.  USD was the only school to stick with him and they offer after his survey, that is why they got him in the first place.
