UND @ Clarkson-Potsdam awaits.

I am in the group that believes Strinden needs to sit on Friday.  Not only as a result of his play, but I think he needs to get himself in a better place.  I remember thinking that this kid looks lost.

Lot of people hating on him for Saturday night, but for all we know he could have been challenged by Jax to go out and play aggressive and physical in an attempt to set a tone with MN that nothing would come easy.  We just don't know.  Yes, it was overboard and costly be we don't know if he went rogue or was guided there.  Seems like a pretty good young man otherwise, so how about we all just take a deep breath and not get too judgy after one bad game, and give Jax a little latitude to work through things.  If it was Jax who encouraged him to be super aggressive one could see why he then maybe wouldn't sit him to send a message, and then one could question Jax for not reigning it back in right away, but the fact of the matter is we don't know all of the circumstances and should maybe just sit back for a while, give some benefit of the doubt and wait for the season to evolve for a bit before pulling out the pitchforks.

If the refs are going to call the game like they did last weekend the rest of the season, we'll have to dial down the physicality for everyone. That is a concern going forward.

This happens every season... refs call everything tighter to try and get teams to stop with stick infractions, interference, etc.

If games keep getting called as tightly as they have through four games, I'll be very surprised.

Absolutely not hating on him.  He had a really bad game, it happens, but it also can't simply be tolerated and excused.  I fully expect that he will bounce back and this team still NEEDS him to be a leader and contributor.

I agree with a previous poster that at this point we'll have to trust Jax to handle it in a manner he sees fit.  From my perspective in my recliner, I think he needs a night off.  Regardless, I want to see a more focused, driven, and controlled Strinden the next time he steps on the ice, be that Friday or not and I think a lot of fans will be watching his performance more closely.

Rickwood returns to play Clarkson as UND's leading scorer:

"I transferred pretty late," Rickwood said. "It was already on the schedule. (When) I transferred and committed, I was still at school (at Clarkson), so they were giving me a hard time. I knew we were coming back, so that was pretty cool.

"I've already got a couple texts from a couple guys there. They're ready for the challenge to play us, and I'm super excited to go there."

"It's been great," Rickwood said. "I've been playing with some really good linemates. I probably didn't expect to get off to this hot of a start, because I didn't know how the growing pains would go.

"Right when I got here in the summer, it felt right. Everything felt good. I could just be myself around everyone. Everyone took me in really well. I didn't think it would be this good, but I definitely thought I'd be ready to go when the first puck dropped."

That young man has had an off season that none of us would want to deal with. I agree, give him a little slack.

Agreed, don’t envy what he’s had to go through the past few months. (Guessing) that all 3 of the coaches have likely sat down with him this week to make sure he’s doing alright mentally as a person first before even getting to hockey.

So if I get Disney+ already, I should be able to get ESPN+, right?

Yes. If you get disney+ you also get hulu.  Go into your hulu and you will find espn college hockey games.  Or just search college hockey in hulu and it will give you all espn games.  Und will be there.
