They're not super skilled but skate their a** off and work extremely hard all night. The coaches in the CCHA think they’ll win it. very aggressive forecheck. Hurt them early. They move the puck very well. Maybe a blossoming new rivalry in the making? 1 Quote

I am not trying to restart any speculation but it is odd how Berry is not really brought up in any conversations but Hak is all the time. I think Karl may have sided with the person who isn’t the coach now. 😥 1 Quote
Username Taken Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago The depth should tilt the ice for the bottom lines in UNDs favor for the vast majority of the games. Defensively I don’t think there is a team in the nation that Id trade defense corps with at this point. Keep in mind we have a first rounder currently sitting out. Was hoping to see more from the top 6, but that will come. I was impressed with the coach interviews. Seems like this is a very demanding detailed group at the helm. 1 Quote

Blackheart Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago This really nails it for me...forward depth giving a definite advantage on Sioux 4th line; didn't see them scoring 3 goals but we'll take it. Once that top 6 starts to move and groove a little more, UND could be looking at a nice season. I know; don't get too excited...it's just one game! 13 minutes ago, Username Taken said: The depth should tilt the ice for the bottom lines in UNDs favor for the vast majority of the games. Power play needs some adjustments You think Laurila should replace Jubenvil as the 7th D when Emery comes back? PP was good at 2/4, what kind of adjustments? Didn't watch the game, so looking for opinions from those who did. 1 Quote

Wilbur Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago Well well well....Karl Goehring and Brad Berry were in the rink and we didn't get a #fullsixty from our guys, some things never change....😄 Congrats to those who took UND at -330 tonight. Vegas knew.... 1 Quote

Beat the Tommies to loose pucks, crashed the boards, solid goaltending, and nice passing on the power play. Still too many stick penalties but pleased with what I saw. The standard for slashing was tightened up this year. Anything toward the hands will get called. same with hooks and other restraint penalties in the neutral zone . Quote

Sioux Hockey Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago I thought the boys looked solid for the most part as to be expected there were lapses but that will happen this time of year, our 4th line was great put them on the ice they play with energy and got us 3 out of the 6 goals tonight, gonna be at the game Sunday lets take over the X nodak fans, plenty of seats still left on ticketmaster.com scoop them up fans this team needs our full support!!! 1 Quote

Not sure on that from what I’ve seen. First they’re all not on the same PP. Swanson has been fine at ES but Reschny and Zellers have struggled mightily so far. Obv super early. I think Reshny needs a few games. I’m assuming they’ll split Zellers and Reschny up here soon. 1 Quote

RedFrog Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago The NCHC app on Roku progressively got worse through the night ... kicked us out once in the first period, twice in the second period, and probably 7 or 8 times in the third. May need to just airplay it as has been recommended until it is fixed. As far as the game, I really liked the hustle and effort of the entire team. There was definitely a lot of sloppy play and Gibson did a really good job when called upon to make some big saves. The two he let in were a breakaway and a rebound to an open guy on a PK. That 4th line was really fun to watch tonight, they were so hard on pucks and on the forecheck. The sloppy play can be fixed. Was it just me, or did the game appear to be played at a higher speed than in recent years? 1 Quote
