And with P4 moving to expanded conference schedules, there will be less opportunity for buy games.  B1G and SEC are already at 9 conference games and with CFP playoff expansion, 10 conference games might become a reality for those conferences and likely ACC and Big 12.  

The only way FBS looks attractive to me is if there ends up being a G6 playoff.  But the G6 isn't going to instigate its own structure for fear of being left out of CFP entirely.

exactly...they can't push for a g6 tourney AND ask for a spot in the CFP.....if they did and a team like boise got the one bid to the CFP AND had a g6 tourney who would be the g6 champ?  the team that was #1 and got the auto invite to get crushed by ohio state or the team that wins the 1a(aa)(aaa) tourney title???????

After watching Izzo start up his weekly interview with FCS Herder on Hot Mic today it appears we can look forward to weekly "what would the FCS season look like if NDSU hadn't left?". Herder needs to take control and not let Izzo make every week about SU.

Hahaha...it's Izzo's show FFS.  Must've missed the part where he said he has UND as his pick to win the conference.  

Gotta love the hate for a show that provides more UND talk than damn near anyone.  He's not obligated to talk FCS or UND for that matter.

You still hear monitoring every Moo U comment? When you move up you should moove on. When he's talking to the guy that is among the top podcasts for FCS the conversation should probably be about FCS schools - don't you think.

All I took away from Herder’s segment is that even without the so called national brand, his readership numbers are still up year over year.

Remember, if you have to constantly tell people you’re a national brand, you’re probably not a national brand.

I am not sure about you but when I think of big boy ball I think of San Jose St Spartan Football.  It's funny that Buffalo fans rip on Murray St when they might have a better football stadium than SJSU.  SJSU's stadium has gone from 31,000 to 18,000.  The improvement was to reduce the number of people that could watch the football team.
