I would be fine with that, as that would break the trends of the last 6-8 years. Especially with football, it seemed like they actually somehow got worse as the year went on, and some of the lead players actually seemed to regress through the season and even throughout their career at UND... Hockey didnt necessarily have a clear trend of regressing through the season, but they definitely played poorly when it mattered, especially toward in the post season. 

I havent followed either team very closely the past 2-3 seasons due to no changes being made and seeing the exact same issues happen over and over again. But this year I'm all in and am going to watch any and every game I can. I'll even be making a trip to GF to watch games for both for the first time in at least 4-5 years. No matter how their seasons go this year, I know for the long term the right choices were made and I want to be there to support it and keep in mind that growing pains are real and understandable, even if it's the first full season or so.

Was there actually practice today or were they just reporting and tomorrow is first practice?

Miller's write-up mentioned a new addition to the roster from Portland State and Arizona, Jeffrey Robinson. 

Sounds like all the QBs had decent days, which is exactly what you want to hear!

I'm hoping our starter plays really well and we are still in the game at end of 3rd quarter....so I kinda hope we don't.  

Going to be fun to hear how things go in fall camp and see who the starter is. Sounds like the summer player practices have helped and they all looked pretty good on day 1. That was definitely good to hear, even if it was only for a day. We are in a better position at QB this year than last year. 

I think most likely 2 QB's get into the game at some point though.

My guess is that we play two qbs at Kansas state. I hope we can hang with them but I think Kansas state is pretty darn good.

@SiouxFan100  That would be my guess as well in case of any fall camp injuries or future injuries we'd have a quarterback ready.

I think you're right.  I office next to a KState alum, and he says that they're picked second in the Big 12.
