Is there such a thing as Summer Ledgies?

In the last 3-4 years, I'm sure there has been.   Until a few days ago, I'd never been up there during summer.

I'd say yes, but only due to my kids being out of school until late August.  Things get much better when they are contained elsewhere.

Going back to the new sweaters I will say the Kelly green color looks much better. Between the new ones and the old ones I'd obviously choose the new ones. Getting rid of the Hawk font is nice.

Large North Dakota font on the front is good. Gotta make sure everyone can read it.

I wonder if that's a separate ledge, or they are mixed together on one ledge up there.   It's hard to say for certain when you visit.  I have to think ledgie parents have a different look, but it's been so long, I forget what I looked like.

I assume Russ Hons took the photo of the new unis by how lime green everything looks.  He's good at photography, but all his photos he posts of UND hockey after he edits them makes them way too limey.

Hawks is great unless you like opponents calling you Hawksuckers. See how that works?  Most adults aren’t worried about what immature people conjure up to insult them, that’s why they are rivals.

What a bunch of hawksucking nodiks!! Sue’s a girls name!

My experience was that when I lived in Minn years ago and in Wis. now.  Badger hockey fans have a respect for UND hockey, though.

Living in southwest WI, it doesn’t seem like anyone here knows what hockey is. Odd, but a beautiful State nonetheless.

Far enough north to get into the drift less region they do.   Don’t know much about the area south of Prairie du Chien though.

People should really look up unfiltered audio of what is said between these young guys battling it out for 60 minutes.  There is some great ones where they've got minor league players mic'd up.

When I coached high school I couldn't believe the stuff kids say back and forth.

I'd say getting called "nodiks" would be friendly banter with what else gets said.

Not judging but living in the Twin Cities, the term Nodak was basically used as a slur.  Yes, Gofer fans can be mean.;)

Coming from fans of a program that are proud to have a rodent as their mascot!

Haha. It’s almost as if they don’t know what a gopher actually is.
