nodakgirl93 Posted yesterday at 04:20 PM Posted yesterday at 04:20 PM Going back to the new sweaters I will say the Kelly green color looks much better. Between the new ones and the old ones I'd obviously choose the new ones. Getting rid of the Hawk font is nice. Quote
Popular Post Siouxdaddy Posted yesterday at 04:56 PM Popular Post Posted yesterday at 04:56 PM The real question… Will they change the font at center ice??? 5 Quote

Gotta make sure everyone can read it. 2 Quote

I have to think ledgie parents have a different look, but it's been so long, I forget what I looked like. 1 Quote
Big A HG Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago I assume Russ Hons took the photo of the new unis by how lime green everything looks. He's good at photography, but all his photos he posts of UND hockey after he edits them makes them way too limey. 2 Quote

I was in 5th grade once too! Ironic that Nodak and Hawks both have 5 letters but no one has ever suggested they try that on a jersey but keep desperately grasping on to these old nicknames in the hope they will magically come back - sorry, they're gone forever! MOVE ON! The biggest problem is the farther away we move on from the name change the more the new players are confused coming to UND. Don't you think they wonder who the crowd is cheering for when they wear one jersey and the crowd is cheering for some team called the "Sioux"? It's an identity crisis that costs us on the ice just because old fans can't deal with a name change. UND will NEVER win another NC until the fans cheer for the team that's on the ice - not one they wish was still around for their own selfish purposes. I'd hope a new coach would lead the way to the future but I doubt Dane would dare to rock the boat - SAD! So it's another 10 years of mediocrity cheering for "THE SIOUX" while the actual team on the ice under performs and goes nowhere - fantastic! Hawks is great unless you like opponents calling you Hawksuckers. See how that works? Most adults aren’t worried about what immature people conjure up to insult them, that’s why they are rivals. 3 3 Quote

Blackheart Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago Not judging but living in the Twin Cities, the term Nodak was basically used as a slur. Yes, Gofer fans can be mean. 1 1 Quote

Far enough north to get into the drift less region they do. Don’t know much about the area south of Prairie du Chien though. Quote
cberkas Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago I'm sure this will be on their podcast Sunday or Monday Quote
Sweethockey Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago He handled the interview very well! He will do UND proud during his time here. I am excited to see him play on Monday. 2 Quote

People should really look up unfiltered audio of what is said between these young guys battling it out for 60 minutes. There is some great ones where they've got minor league players mic'd up. When I coached high school I couldn't believe the stuff kids say back and forth. I'd say getting called "nodiks" would be friendly banter with what else gets said. Quote
