I think Martone was 100% bought in at State despite the high NIL number. He would have fit in well at North Dakota. McKenna just wasn't going to be a fit based on price & his approach.

For that one, I wore a ref shirt, dark sunglasses, a red-tipped cane, and used a toy/stuffed dog that "led" me around.  Way too many people cleared way for me, so soon I dropped the cane.

In an 80's haze, I remember seeing a girl wearing a grass skirt, and asking her if I could mow her skirt.  She didn't take me up on the offer.

Oh... and the hockey was great too.  Goalies were badly mismatched vs shooters in the 1980's.

I was at this game. Next season they made a rule that you couldn't be under .500 and make the tournament as an at large. That was a heckuva atmosphere.

Flames are impressed with Reschny putting on 8+ lbs of muscle this year and the UND staff as a whole.
