Optimism? Really? The team is playing for their lives to be able to play a little bit longer and not booking tee times. They didn't get to this point because a no puck luck. A calamity of errors would be more like it. From the HC to the team's captain. Any guess on who will be paired up for lines this weekend? Anybody think that the lines will be shuffled once again? Right or wrong? I have a small shred of optimism for this team. If they win the quarterfinal series this weekend AND win next Friday in St. Paul, I will attend the championship game on Saturday and cheer my till I have no voice.

All of this.

Is Emery hurt or did Berry shut him down for the rest of the season? I know he was taking some bad penalties at the end there but so were other players all season long.

And keep changing lines right up to the last game/period/minute WTF

Is Brad just throwing darts for line combos now?

What's with all the negativity on this thread? THIS IS PLAYOFF HOCKEY FOLKS! Throw out the regular season records and the horse !@#$ attitudes that have been persistent all season long. UND sweeps: 4-2 Friday, 3-1 Saturday

Unfortunately you can't throw the regular season out the window because there is nothing this team has done this season that says it can do anything of significance this post season.   I would love to see them go on a run to the Frozen Four but again mediocrity is what has been on display this season.

I would argue that this represents the state of the program.  Maybe it is good that UND fans are humbled a bit, as I recall a cocky overconfident sentiment that prevailed in a good portion of our fanbase where people thought there was no way we could lose a series or a game based on the opponent.  As we have seen, especially in a one and done situation any team can beat another on a given night.   We probably need a little bit of middle ground between optimism and pessimism, but the trajectory of the program is leaning toward the latter, which is not great.

Gotta agree.

Wrong! They’d have to get so unlucky to lose this series. Just listened to the UND pod. Last Saturday was confirmed classic case of no puck luck. Won’t happen again.

No puck luck last Saturday?!   Puck luck (lack of) was certainly not the issue/cause for that meltdown.

Thank god Midco picked this game up and we don't have the mavs broadcast

Scanlan will continue to be a program enabler if this game goes off the rails.
