That was Dan Hammer’s term for the stick salute the one year when he was announcing games.  I think he was only in the booth for a year but had several gems like TCOS.

3rd / 4th lines were by far the two best lines last night. Really want things to click for McLaughlin on the 1st line, but they aren’t. Croal should play every game. Who shouldn’t when Perron is healthy? Clearly 29. 
 

I like 29-8-27 playing together.   The line isn't necessarily great at defense, but instead of spreading 3 guys that can't score across 3 lines to drag them down you just bite the bullet and have one line you know has no chance of scoring.

Alex is part of the UND a$$ kissing crowd and might not get access to the players if he criticized them.  He interacts with all the players and coaches when he interviews them like they are besties.

That’s somewhat typical though in sports when comparing play by play announcer vs color commentary announcer.

Yes I agree he sounds like such a homer when he does this. He needs to be careful he might get to excited and fall out of the broadcast booth.

Last night, we sat through the St. Cloud broadcast. I’m sure Geno Parrish is a nice guy but man, very difficult to listen to his fan boy color commentary. I think UND has it good compared to other programs’ commentators.
