We are literally never going to you big winner you.  Keep us updated each year on how it goes

Times are changing; there’s a first time for everything. You’re either for it or against it (or indifferent which is the worst). Again, attitude matters - what will it be? As of now, you’re sounding apathetic - what will it take for you to join the club?

I am all in, but I also live in reality. Those that are waiting for us to beat them in overall recruiting are going to be waiting awhile.

I do expect the Hawks to win more battles than they have in the past. I want them to trust me.

Bump me

It's a new era for this program.

Embrace the challenges and the opportunities that are there.

We were in even worse shape in 1986 and we went on to beat them 10 out of 13 times from 1993 to 2003.

It will take time, but it can and will happen.

One thing I'll point out, timing of the offers. This coaching staff has 30+ offers out now. My guess is, last year at this time, that number was less than 5. Clearly, there are other factors that will make recruiting the 2026 class different than 2025, I'm betting on night and day different. Timing, I think there's a real premium on how this current coaching staff is attacking recruiting.

I don't know of the timing of offers over the last few years.  I'm guessing we would have had to be in early on many of these that went to FBS as they offer earlier also.  I randomly searched three of them and their commitment dates were early June (2 of them) and December of the year prior.  I really hope things are different.  It is easy to make offers but harder to close them.

I did meet up with a member of the UND athletics fundraising team in the last week.  They explained some of the things that are different with the football program now and they are very exciting.  I believe that we can make a big step forward and really hope we do.

I’m all for positivity and enthusiasm at this critical period of time in UND Football history! You’re either part of the solution or the problem.

Let’s win championships!

Also a huge factor are the tools at their disposal. Everything for UND football right now is unprecedented. We’ve never invested like this. It’s paying off already.

Not trying to be a smart ass, just genuinely curious here.  Can you cite specifics on where it's paying off cause that would be good news indeed.

Easy initial point would be portal player quality.

Honestly, not even sure “huge” does justice in just how important the new facilities and associated improvements have been and will be for UND football.  The increased investment by the UND athletic department (and collective) - and the new coaching staff - just adds to it …

Big things coming …

Where does the 1 less current offer come from? I was going to ask last week but forgot.
