I am all in, but I also live in reality. Those that are waiting for us to beat them in overall recruiting are going to be waiting awhile. I do expect the Hawks to win more battles than they have in the past. I want them to trust me. 1 Quote

This coaching staff has 30+ offers out now. My guess is, last year at this time, that number was less than 5. Clearly, there are other factors that will make recruiting the 2026 class different than 2025, I'm betting on night and day different. Timing, I think there's a real premium on how this current coaching staff is attacking recruiting. 5 Quote

Timing, I think there's a real premium on how this current coaching staff is attacking recruiting. I don't know of the timing of offers over the last few years. I'm guessing we would have had to be in early on many of these that went to FBS as they offer earlier also. I randomly searched three of them and their commitment dates were early June (2 of them) and December of the year prior. I really hope things are different. It is easy to make offers but harder to close them. I did meet up with a member of the UND athletics fundraising team in the last week. They explained some of the things that are different with the football program now and they are very exciting. I believe that we can make a big step forward and really hope we do. 1 Quote

Right, sell the University as a whole and the educational opportunities along with all of the facilities. Then sell them on being remembered as the group that put UND in the spotlight again. Instead of being lumped in with all the other NDSU championship teams, why not start a path of your own and be recognized like a Mike Mooney who helped turn the program around last time. Create your own opportunities to be recognized for greatness. 2 3 Quote

The increased investment by the UND athletic department (and collective) - and the new coaching staff - just adds to it … Big things coming … 1 Quote
