Alabama is the reason two teams are bowling, one of the losses was in humiliating fashion during "win or go home" time. Also lost pretty bad to Ole Miss. Ole Miss was Kentucky's only SEC win I think. Enough said. South Carolina got stomped by Ole Miss, lost to Alabama, and lost to LSU. That said, they were playing well at the end of the year. Miami was the alternative maybe? They were gonna get stomped tonight too. Indiana's stars aligned. They beat the piss out of most teams, and lost pretty bad to OSU in the second half. Hard to hold that over their head. I think this game maybe demonstrated they aren't great. But they had a nice season. If you don't make the tourney as a P4 team, the problem is you and no one else. Quote

There’s really nothing the committee could have done, no disagreement there. They took advantage of the schedule that was presented. That will be life in an 18-team conference. Take advantage of the schedule presented to you. Quote

DL Sioux Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago So far the 12 team CFP is a joke. Not one close game. Not sure what the fix is though. Would just like to see competitive games. It will only get worse if Boise State gets blown out after receiving a bye. Quote

College football has become like Major League Baseball, which has declined I’d say relatively speaking … Need some regulation with NIL and the transfer portal ASAP: right now the lack of regulation is a bad thing for the sport. I think the current seeding process is broken, ASU and BSU should not be 3 and 4 seeds. This is why your are going to see a bunch of terriable games. Quote

Problem is it’s creating weird matchups in the quarters. Quote

No better teams were left out. SEC got exposed yesterday. I think maybe they should get rid of conference champs getting byes, instead just guaranteeing a spot in the playoff. That would mitigate some of the weird stuff. Quote
SiouxFan100 Posted 3 hours ago Author Posted 3 hours ago Conference champions get into the tournament and then seed every team - I imagine similar to basketball - not all the best teams get into the tournament but conference tournaments matter 1 1 Quote
