Silence in which way? Lack of our guys entering to free up spots as @Sioux94 eluded? Or lack of commitments? Think we have some offers out to some solid guys I’d love to see us land (Wing and Dalton especially).

There’s a plan in place, believe me, but the followers (including those on this site) need to have a positive mindset, also, and do their part. There’s a difference between dreams and goals…

Agreed! This forum raised over $60,000 for UND football via the “Let’s Help Bubba” campaigns. I think the last time this was done was around 2022 and raised over $12K in a day or two. 
 

I wonder if there would be a way to have a public $ goal to hit that would go toward the 1883 Collective? 
 

Side note: a while back (when the 1883 Collective was still new-ish) they did a 1:1 matching $ donation campaign. That was great!

Also, assuming if we really landed a number of these guys that we are after, the staff would cut loose a few kids. They can do that, right? 

Assuming you don't want to make a habit of just cutting kids late, but in a year where you are a new staff and trying to rebuild/mold the team to what you want, there should be a little flexibility.

Not sure if UND has interest or not but he’s someone I really wanted out of high school. Sun Prairie kid so was teammates with Kaminski, Alton Williams and Sam Ostrenga.

I don't think there's currently a correlation. What I mean is if we land X from the portal, then we cut Y. Either the numbers must work as is, or we'll see a few more enter in the next 3 days. 

By the offers, I'm guessing the staff is looking for 1 RB, 1 TE, 1 WR, 2 D-Line, 1 LB, 1 DB (7 total). So far 3 have entered the portal, but you also had Teiken, Baretz (I'm sure a few others) that were, to the public unknowns that left the program prior to Spring ball.

It was so obvious last time it was Wunderlich. based on social media activity. Zero movement with current public portal offers, very little with the 2026 offers. Could this be someone (most likely portal) where the offer was never made public?

Is that just for people to enter the portal? I assume once they are in the portal then commit anytime them want. Correct?
