Not sure I am tracking...we historically have gotten a handful of D men from the NTDP...I don't think we've landed many elite forwards...Kristo might be the one I can think of 1

Keeping Costantini would have been better than keeping Hain or Senden for sure. That was a poor decision. That said, how does Matteo not have way more points this season? Playing with Bump should be an automatic 1-2 pts a game.
yzerman19 Posted March 22 Posted March 22 If Sacha and Livy bolt it is a f'ing nail in the coffin. They are the only two on the team with a future other than Emery. 1

Im betting his plus minus is off the chart...clearing space and retrieving pucks for the studs to make magic 1
yzerman19 Posted March 22 Posted March 22 Look you win from the back through the middle. Wingers are a dime a dozen. Offensive D often jack up skilled Fs, so you have to be cognizant of that. Goalies are hard to project. As such, you need to start with an elite center and an elite D pairing. One that is puck moving and one that is shut down. Your center needs to be Toews-like offensive but 200 feet. 1
cberkas Posted March 22 Posted March 22 Matteo also wins draws and got to the front of the net which no one does on this team. 4

yzerman19 Posted March 22 Posted March 22 NDSU doesnt play big time football...they are 2nd tier. Imagine NDSU vs Michigan or Ohio State 1 2 1
yzerman19 Posted March 22 Posted March 22 RIght now....as a Big 10 alumni x2...anything in ND is irrelevant
yzerman19 Posted March 22 Posted March 22 I love Sioux hockey...bled green...booked my weekends...spent tens of thousands to travel...not so much anymore
yzerman19 Posted March 22 Posted March 22 We can put lipstick on all our pigs...but right now we got nothing...a highest level program that is tanking, a second class program that is good, a bunch of junk that doesn't matter...hard to be a ND kid and see and say this, but we're f'd

Only at UND would that be the thought process. “Let’s wait and see if Year 9 is when we turn it around”. Laughable 2
