Wilbur Posted October 27 Share Posted October 27 Yesterday hurt, they all do. Let's have a circle on this.....let's talk about our feelings. I'll start with some moments I can't get over. First memorable Bubba moment was the NAU game which was a must win with the Moose and Santiago playing in their last possible game in 2018. I've never seen a team look less interested in what was a pretty important game....laid an egg...multiple eggs.... Second one is 2016....the Richmond game....up big in the 2nd half. They are punting out of their end zone and the guy with the snake roughs the punter.....at the end we decide to not just let them score a TD and they kick an extra point field goal to win it...... Honorable mention was Northern Iowa's linebacker rushing for a bunch against us last year..... See, I feel better about it already.... I just assumed in the stands we were trying to draw them off and call a timeout if they didn’t bite. Nope. I was wrong…. I think you are correct. the game should have been over, but we managed to blow it. Up 28-17, 4th and 2 at MSU 29 yard line with 5:30 left in game. We ran a reverse where second runner was going to throw to Q(in at QB) and the exchange between Otis and ? was fumbled. This is what we get—> 15 + years of mediocre football because we’re trying to live up the glory days of DII while playing in an ever changing landscape of DI athletics. Move on from the DII ties.
