Ouch.  And at this point JJ has seen some of these types of comparisons and must be absolutely mind-f'd right now.  I was, and am, really pulling for the guy, but woof, it's been so bad so far.  Glad I turned in my Vikings fan membership card after '98 and now watch just for the amusement.

What did you expect from a kid making his first NFL start under terrible circumstances? That being said, I think the Vikings should lose out and get a QB with their first pick.

The Vikings might be the worst team in the NFL right now. Would you be willing to bet money on the Vikings against any team in the league right now with a pick-em line? I wouldn’t. 
Kwesi has to go, done a terrible job with the draft which should be the life blood of any franchise. O’Connell must, at a bare minimum give up play calling, he is totally inept. I wouldn’t complain if they let him go also, his judgement is highly questionable (make Flores the head coach). They need to seriously look at the offensive line coach, hate to say it about a former Sioux player but it isn’t working. The O-line has been below average to poor too often. Just a complete sh!t show.

good for him.  he was the ideal short yardage possession type receiver needed to help a young quarterback (or now, two young quarterbacks).  but KOC decided to ignore that strategy in favor of chuck the pigskin as far downfield as you can, and pray.

The Wilfs need to buy out Kwesi and KOC after the season is over.

Hire competent people in both positions.

Trade Jefferson and anyone else with value for players and/or draft picks.

The "competitive rebuild" has been a disaster. It needs to end.

Blow it all up and start over.
