Look at the turn around for the defense this year! Oh wait… I’m shocked that all these D2, D3, NAIA, and Juco transfers didn’t turn around our defense.

I'm just saying the portal hasn't been cure all, at least for us, that some people want to think it is. Nothing more.

Our current path over the last 10 years falls on bubba, not so much on the talent that we have. Good coaches can get their players to run through a brick wall. Bubba is never going to accomplish that and he's also not going to replace any of the good players who entered the portal with better players from other teams. Turning things around at UND isn't going to be accomplished by bringing in a mass number of portal players - think Missouri State. It's going to be accomplished by getting rid of bubba

Same approach, same results. Again and again. Small front 7, can’t stop the run. Can’t recruit DBs even though the HC used to coach DBs. Non explosive WRs. It’s a recipe for….. 7-5 every year and can’t win on the road or in the playoffs. 1

They may be getting a little better of athlete because of their move to FBS. ISU blue good wideout was FBS drop down. bringing some to fill gaps I’m for (Montana last year), wholesale acquisition may affect chemistry and game work ethic/effort lacking (Murray State). Bigger issue by far is bubba. Bubba isn't going to bring in better talent through the portal. Not sure what we've seen in the past 10 years that would make anyone believe that's a possibility

And that was with a good chunk of guys from the previous coach. 2

That was a more complete team with Clive going deep and the best front 7 of the D1 era by a mile.

The staffs under Bubba (minus Rudy) have met a minimum threshold of X's and O's to be successful. Our roster has had some right parts in place at various times but never enough in place at one time. We do but don’t land enough of our top targets.

They also said this on 360, but weird that in 11 years under Bubba that is the only team that improved during the year and was playing their best football at the end.
