Godsmack Posted October 29, 2023 Posted October 29, 2023 Thoughts on the CC game… I agree with coach Mayotte’s post game comments-CC didn’t match Augustana’s intensity out of the blocks and again for the sixth straight game, CC took way too many penalties and had some bad d zone break downs that left Mbereko hanging out to dry. I liked CC’s compete level though as they battled back from the 4-1 deficit. They had a five on three with a five minute power play and scored one but would’ve been nice to pop in two, obviously. Give Auggie credit, they’re big and physical and well coached and earned that victory. They’re a good solid team that’s going to win some games this year. Quote

Popular Post fightingsioux4life Posted October 29, 2023 Popular Post Posted October 29, 2023 This incident is a reminder that our time on this planet is finite and tomorrow is not guaranteed to us. We complain about bad playcalls, our teams underachieving and so on. And that is what this forum is for. But it is good to have a reminder once in awhile that life should be cherished and not taken for granted. 2 8 Quote

nodak651 Posted October 30, 2023 Posted October 30, 2023 Anyone find it odd that NESN rebroadcast the Augustana vs CC game twice? This is what CC had for TV for that game (and some of the others) Quote

I'll trust him knowing the character he brought to UND. 5 Quote
cberkas Posted November 2, 2023 Author Posted November 2, 2023 Not NCAA, but after what happened to Johnson, the WHL makes neck guards mandatory starting 11/3 or when the teams can get them. Some people have a problem with this as an overreaction, I sure they are mandatory at a certain level already. https://x.com/TheWHL/status/1719840236849799194?s=20 Quote
