Hawkster Posted June 30, 2023 Posted June 30, 2023 Recruiting looks good. I've been critical in the past but things are looking up. 1 Quote

Nice to pick up an Iowa kid who could have gone to Iowa. We've seem plenty of those types of players pick their home state or the bigger school with PWO offers. Can't wait to see what else comes with this next recruiting class. Quote

The Sicatoka Posted June 30, 2023 Posted June 30, 2023 Toivanen, Maag, Waletzko, Hoosman, the CFL guys in WPG and HAM, soon hopefully Ventrelli, even being able to point to Coach Kuper with MIN, all help in getting better recruits because you can point to them as success stories. 2 Quote

If we’re talking about 2023 (next season), I have very little concerns about the offense as a whole. I think it as a unit is capable of winning the conference. The issue, however, is the defense. At this juncture, it’s a major liability. Hopefully there will be positive surprises this season. More interesting, Bubba - the defensive minded HC - is folding his cards to his eventual successor. Short answer: yes. https://marketrealist.com/jobs/how-much-do-nfl-coaches-get-paid/ more realistic: no. No evidence UND is willing to pay their FB head coach greater than $400k for HC and no evidence Chris Kuper wants to leave the NFL. Also, UND’s future HC is already employed by UND. 2 Quote

With guys like him you have to be his first stop or he’ll be outta here and too expensive. The DeBoer situation was pretty rare as he was obviously a legit HC and a fast riser but he was in our wheelhouse for a time Quote

"The Reverse" and "Fourth Down" are rounding errors by comparison. 3 1 Quote

Parkers Pros Posted July 5, 2023 Posted July 5, 2023 We are starting to see more lineman with size and that’s great. We need to win in the trenches and I feel like we are making strides on both sides. It’s fun to be getting lineman with offers from Iowa State and Yale for instance. 2 Quote
