If we’re talking about 2023 (next season), I have very little concerns about the offense as a whole. I think it as a unit is capable of winning the conference. The issue, however, is the defense. At this juncture, it’s a major liability. Hopefully there will be positive surprises this season. More interesting, Bubba - the defensive minded HC - is folding his cards to his eventual successor. With guys like him you have to be his first stop or he’ll be outta here and too expensive. We need to win in the trenches and I feel like we are making strides on both sides.
