siouxvblove Posted January 3, 2023 Posted January 3, 2023 Possible Roster for Next season: Setters: Peyton Sewell, Elizabeth Norris, Teagan Timperly, Kortney Carney Outside Hitters: Lauren Perugini, Olivia Edlund, McCallister Gayle, Ashlyn Olsen, Elizabeth Norris, Katy Riviere, Paige Barber, Maddy Hornyak Middles: Trinity Blackwood, Maddie Lipetsky, Sophia Ortquist, Erika Lindqvist, Marissa Stockman Liberos/Defensive Specialists: Kortney Carney, Isabelle McCormick, Skylar Darr, Kennedy Nelson, Maddy Hornyak, Jocelyn Juleson, Olivia De Jong Currently Unknown on who is staying and going, graduate students are up in the air, anyone have confirmation on if Stockman/Sewell/Carney/Lindqvist still have eligibility? Pribyl and Ward were the only ones celebrated on senior night so I am wondering what that means Quote

siouxvblove Posted January 4, 2023 Author Posted January 4, 2023 I think the upcoming season will tell a lot. 6 new recruits coming in making it a full roster. These girls will only be freshman so who knows who will start or play but we hopefully will see some big moves coming from the team. Quote

loyalundfan Posted January 23, 2023 Posted January 23, 2023 Looks like Sewell is no longer on the team. Social media posts saying she’s graduated and no longer on the team. Guessing with Timperly coming in, she may have seen the writing on the wall. Not sure who else is leaving at the roster is still full online even though they should have started last week. Carney was MIA at the end of the season, so not sure where she stands. Also, Jordan Vail is no longer on the list of coaching staff, it just says TBD. Wonder who they are looking at for that position. Quote

undVBfan Posted February 28, 2023 Posted February 28, 2023 Lindquist and Ward were grad students. Ward played in every match, no idea if she graduated, is out of eligibility, or just done. Lindquist didn't play a lot, so it's not surprising. Pribyl did the Senior thing at the end of the season, so we knew she was done. Saw that she is listed as a volunteer coach. I tried to include the thumbs up emoji but it won't let me. Sewell isn't listed now. I know she graduated. I think she had a COVID year left, so I'm surprised she isn't going to grad school. I think she's still in town, maybe she'll enroll over the summer. :-) Julson didn't play much, so it's not surprising. No idea if she's looking elsewhere or decided it's time to just be a student. Don't know what the story is with Carney. I don't know if there is something to her not playing at the end of the season. I didn't hear that she graduated, but I could have missed it. UND is now down two setters from last year with a freshman coming in. I would think the team would want her experience, they are one sprained ankle away from a true freshman as the only setter. I suspect there is more to the story... I don't know any of these players, or what they are doing now. I can't fault any student athlete who chooses to step back from the grind. I witnessed first hand what the grid of college volleyball can do to the body and mind (not at UND) while trying to balance school, health, and relationships. Wherever they end up, good luck. Quote

Also didnt see her listed on last years roster for the team. She also red shirted her first year there. Would be nice to have her for at least a couple! Quote
