Saw Red River tonight and they are rightfully #1.  Took a special performance from Sheyenne's goaltender to keep it a two goal game.

They can just roll three lines all game and not have to worry about line match-ups.

I think the Demons had 6 SOG.  South is picked where they are and Demons picked where they are for a reason.  Looks like Davies and GFC had a tight one.

Phrase may have applied if in said reference Fargo South was indeed a boat with a motor, and Bismarck High was a chicken wire canoe.. and the chicken wire was lead.

Guessing the potential is there.  He's only a SOPH so has time to develop yet.  I'd say he isn't dominant at this point but he has a special ability to bury it.  Vig (D - JR) at CHS seems to be the best player in the WDA this year.  Put up a hatty againt WF in the 3rd period on Friday.

A couple girls teams got started this weekend with road trips to MN.  WF lost to Crookston 2-0 and beat TRF 8-3.  LHS/BHS first career game, 5-2 L to Fergus Falls.  A couple good early season tests for those 2 teams.

2-1 Red River after 1, but dare I say that South/Shanley had the better chances and the RR goalie has been sharp.

As much as I like the Grand Forks schools, any chance of high school hockey staying relevant in ND rests with at least a couple of the Fargo schools having competitive teams.

Looks a little old school for South and North to be legit and this season they sure appear to be so.

Between FB and now hockey, North seems to have a good group of kids coming through.

Both Vig's appear to be good players. Which one has better potential at this point? Maxon (Jr) or Charlie (So)?

Hard to compare as one is a D and the other a C.  Both big and getting stronger.  Great hockey sense, compete and work ethic.
