My guess it’s a little bit of both. 

Unfortunate the coaching staff made some very questionable calls today. Boys played well on D, Offense not so much.

Hate to be that guy, but really have to hang this loss on the coaching staff. The clock management to end the half, the inexplicable fake punt call and not using Smiths elusivness are really perplexing. Defense showed up, but offensive play calling was not to win.

I mean Patterson ain't it dude is unimpressive and won't get drafted.  Not having a first round NFL Qb helps close the gap.

UND needs to bring in a coaching staff that can handle D1 football. Same !@#$ every year. Defense played their hearts out. Offense looked slow and confused.
