Neal's brother has been a starting QB in the MAC and the SEC. Good bloodlines in this year's quarterback class. Rudy cough cough. Nice to see the most important position in the sport finally taken really seriously. 2 Quote
southpaw Posted December 18, 2019 Posted December 18, 2019 Of note: in Vaughn's tweet, he specifically mentions 4 years. I'd imagine he's gunning for a starting job out of the gate. Quote

geaux_sioux Posted December 18, 2019 Author Posted December 18, 2019 I still would almost bet on us getting an older drop down qb after spring ball. Quote

siouxfan512 Posted December 18, 2019 Posted December 18, 2019 An older QB would be great, but I’m almost more concerned with getting some size and depth in the middle of the D line. Quote

And if the DL kid gets a shot his folkes are both All Americans in college (Volleyball and Baseball) and his father was a 5th round pick by the Houston Astros as a pitcher throwing in the mid 90's MPH. Wasn't Max's fault that Mickey Mouse was running the offense at Detroit Lakes High School, was never going to get the big recruiting stats. Quote

I am in the could care less category about an older QB coming in...........unless it's a scenario that hands down he would start for a year or two, being that good of player. That said, very rare to find that. One could argue Braden Hanson fit that mold. 1 Quote
geaux_sioux Posted December 18, 2019 Author Posted December 18, 2019 Pretty concerning to me that Wright dislocated his knee in the state title game this year. I really hope it doesn’t hold him back because he’s a baller. Quote
AJS Posted December 18, 2019 Posted December 18, 2019 Excited about the three QB's that will be on campus in January. I'm more in the @gundy1124 camp, I would be even more specific with who I brought in. This would be a perfect place for a Grad Transfer. Someone like Braden Hanson. One year type scenario. Quote
Hambone Posted December 18, 2019 Posted December 18, 2019 Jack Ihry is now in, which wraps up NSD. Guessing they will get another safety, another CB and hopefully some DL help for the Feb period. It's noted that the JUCO LB has some paperwork things before he can be announced. Still expected for spring ball. Quote

Yeah, I had heard that right about the time of that tweet. Knew he was hurt but didn't know it was a career ender. Quote
sioux24/7 Posted December 18, 2019 Posted December 18, 2019 I’m pumped for spring ball seeing Schuster, Neal and Vaughn competing. 3 Quote
