Agreed, if I lived in GF and certainly if I had season tickets, would I be there? Absolutely!

I know, no worries. Frankly I wish I lived closer to by season tickets. But too much money to travel for bad games. I've actually made it to some football games, but not even a hockey game in the last 10 years. Something that surprises me. Hope the rest of the year and next year is better.

injuries are a problem. I still think this team has talent, but mentality and attitude are one of the biggest issues at this point. Ouch.

Right, and if he was able to redshirt them like you would normally want to do......his first true recruiting class would be Sophomores and his second true recruiting class would be redshirt freshman.

Something needs to change either someone getting fired or something idk. To have the first sellout in 9 years? Then blank the bed not good. Right now it looks like a leadership problem.

We can't make excuses, but we can't ignore injuries. Should Bubba have had greater depth after 3 years is the question, but to lose so many good LB's is really hard to put on him.

When you start with next to nothing, then the answer to this question is no. It will take another 2 or 3 classes to really build the kind of depth within the program that you need to be good week in and week out. The injuries didn't bite as hard last year and that helped us win 9 games. This year, our luck has run out and we are playing guys that are clearly not ready because we don't have anyone else. I am still optimistic about the program as a whole.

I would replace Rudolph. It is clear that he has no imagination and is not willing to use the athletes he now has.

That was painful and completely uncharacteristic of the last two seasons defenses.  Not sure what changed but its crazy how porous they have gotten.  Injuries are only part of the problem.

Defensively speaking...injuries are the only problem.  If UND had Connor and Donnell and Cam and Noah at ILB and Deion and Evan at cb and Andre an Cole at safety they would be one of the top Ds on the fcs.   As it is...nope!

I tend to agree with this.  Look back at 2015 linebacking corp.  Labbatt was 240 lbs. Taj was 230 lbs, Ratelle was 255 lbs, Idowu was the small guy at 225 lbs.  With that size you can mix in a change of pace 210 lb flash like Disterhaupt and be really affective doing it.  But to average 205 lbs across all 4 backers, not going to work very well.

Honest question........

Is the strength and conditioning program up to par?  Seems like there are many players in this program that oft injured, undersized, and/or overmatched.

Reyes is injured for the 4th consecutive season.  He's a nice player but is either unlucky or very brittle.

True ... but why are the backups so undersized? Perhaps Bubba and Schmidt shouldn't recruit players that may take 3 or 4 years to build up to playing weight. I think what we are seeing with the injuries is certainly meaningful, but we are also seeing some major recruiting flaws along the way, also. Need better 2nd string guys to step in and also challange and compete. Schematics with the backup players hasn't blown anyone out of the water, either. 

All in all, the players that UND has received injuries to should not turn UND from the #1 Big Sky Conference team to a team that gets blown out at home. That, my friends, also includes holes in recruiting and piss poor schematics and game management.
