UND-FB-FAN Posted September 1, 2017 Posted September 1, 2017 Studsrud missed Fiedler for a TD on 3rd down play due to pressure ... damn 17 - 9 at halftime ... Still a one score game which is good. UND gets the ball to start the second. Passing game and red zone offense needs to find fire for UND to win. Defense needs to keep it going - need more pressure and another turnover or two 1

Even the announcers said Fiedler was open for a touchdown. QB doesn't get any protection in the pocket. Evidently Tight Ends are 4th choice in a play. Disgusting!
UND-FB-FAN Posted September 1, 2017 Posted September 1, 2017 First Half Yards: Utah 261 UND 92 that is not good at all ... offense needs to get more diversified

Rudolph) needs to be better
northernraider Posted September 1, 2017 Posted September 1, 2017 I'm afraid the second half will show more seperation as being a powerhouse FBS team, theu have more athletes for substitutions. Hope I'm wrong.
Hardcore Hawk Posted September 1, 2017 Posted September 1, 2017 Most important second half adjustment to me is missed tackles. It was ridiculous how many extra yards they got after the first man got to the ball

Hope I'm wrong. UND's offense hasn't done anything to where they should be exhausted ... they just need to score in the red zone which is on the execution and play design both. Defense has been rotating nicely with defensive line depth. D-line depth is FBS quality.

When I look at it and think the offensive line has been decent. We are not blocking the second and third level very well though.
nodak651 Posted September 1, 2017 Posted September 1, 2017 Would love to run some of the same plays that Utah does. Rudolph should just copy their oc

Siouxperman8 Posted September 1, 2017 Posted September 1, 2017 I think camera work is strange. showing tons of close ups of coaches, players and fans until just before the snap. often just a few seconds to see formation prior to snap 1

BarnWinterSportsEngelstad Posted September 1, 2017 Posted September 1, 2017 We're still in this ball game. May need a couple of turn overs and some 10 to 20 yard passes caught. That might even help the running game. Then the next few times in the red zone, we need TD's. Defense has to tackle the guy with the ball on first contact.
BigGame Posted September 1, 2017 Posted September 1, 2017 Can we quit the bitching about Rudolph! We all get it, every offensive problem is because of his play calling but it gets old when people keep beating a dead horse.

Lucky to get a shot of the snap at all. I too like to see the formation
UNDMOORHEAD Posted September 1, 2017 Posted September 1, 2017 I wouldn't mind a defensive TD about now.
