Studsrud missed Fiedler for a TD on 3rd down play due to pressure ... damn

17 - 9 at halftime ...

Still a one score game which is good.

UND gets the ball to start the second. Passing game and red zone offense needs to find fire for UND to win. Defense needs to keep it going - need more pressure and another turnover or two

Hope to see a strong drive from the oggense to start second half. Need 7 rather than 3

Agree completely. Rudolph needs to think really (And I mean really) hard at halftime and get something put together

Neither does our QB judging from that last play.

I am so sick of this. Even the announcers said Fiedler was open for a touchdown. QB doesn't get any protection in the pocket. Evidently Tight Ends are 4th choice in a play.   Disgusting!

Yes, and Cloyd is a weapon but the offense hides tight ends

Offense design (i. e. Rudolph) needs to be better

I'm afraid the second half will show more seperation as being a powerhouse FBS team, theu have more athletes for substitutions. Hope I'm wrong.

UND's offense hasn't done anything to where they should be exhausted ... they just need to score in the red zone which is on the execution and play design both.

Defense has been rotating nicely with defensive line depth. D-line depth is FBS quality.

Offensive line is going to have to figure something out. They are getting kicked around.

When I look at it and think the offensive line has been decent.  We are not blocking the second and third level very well though.

That roughing the kicker was a UND player pushing a Ute into your kicker.

referees are always right when the call goes against the opponent but hard to argue with you there

Can we quit the bitching about Rudolph! We all get it, every offensive problem is because of his play calling but it gets old when people keep beating a dead horse.

Agreed.  It wasn't "dirty" at all, imo.

We're still in this ball game. May need a couple of turn overs and some 10 to 20 yard passes caught. That might even help the running game. Then the next few times in the red zone, we need TD's.  Defense has to tackle the guy with the ball on first contact.

I would like to see izzy in the game.

I wasnt talking about that.  The late hit 10' past the sideline was dirty as F#^@.  Right at the knees.

Stupid enthusiasm by a Freshman.... Be sure he got pulled for his stupidity and chewed out.

Problem was the Utah player left his feet.

I think camera work is strange.  showing tons of close ups of coaches, players and fans until just before the snap.  often just a few seconds to see formation prior to snap

I noticed the same thing.  Lucky to get a shot of the snap at all. I too like to see the formation
