RIP Charlie Murphy.

(Yes, I know that's not Charlie Murphy)

Ya that is probably why this entered my mind while reading about this situation.

But Charlie Murphy and Prince are partying together again somewhere.

Reading all these letters to the editor, Facebook comments, and the Lammy twins you would think that UND came out of nowhere and cut the womens hockey program, did so because they are discriminating against women, officially informed the team via twitter because they have no respect for them, all the while the admisistration is making sexist comments about the team and that little girls don't deserve to play hockey let alone any sport.

It is a shame there is so many misinformed people out there.

Jocelyn officially has more "likes" on her tweet than there were people at the last home game.  Strange.

"competing" at world championships...

7-0 over Russia.

5-3 over Finland.

11-0 over Germany.

A combined 23-3 score in games not involving Canada.  "Competing."  Rah rah USA, I guess.  There's a fine line between pride and jingoism.

The Olympics 86'd womens softball for far less than this.

Did Kennedy actually say that?  Trying to figure out where they got that info.

Doesn't matter - they threw it out there, now it'll be on Kennedy to deny it or debunk the allegation.  No worries, though, just the fact that people are discussing it is exactly what these two rabble-rousers want.

Being that the twins care so much about women's hockey (and formerly UND athletics), have they or anyone in their family ever been Champions Club members or donated back to the program in any monetary sense?

Simple question.

They released the number for the endowment.  Maybe instead of spreading rumors about sexist comments made by the President, they should start fundraising.  And real fundraising and not hashtag campaigns.

Women's Hockey is basically USA, Canada, and a bunch of Eddie "The Eagle" Edwards competing for the bronze.

Brad retweeted it, so you would think he would see if a phrase like that was really used and in what context...  Oh, wait, that would be what a professional journalist would do.

Here is a 2014-2015 Champions Club list I found on the UND Alumni Foundation Website. There is an Andrew Lamoureux listed, but I don't see any others.

Even SI bought into it with a story a week ago about how since NHL players were not going to compete at the Olympics, that "ALL EYES" would be on the women's tournament.  Yea, we're all holding our breath wondering if Germany can keep it within 10 in the medal round.

1916:  Person "X" is rumored to have said this.  Let's "research" it and find out the truth.

2016:  Person "Y" is rumored to have said this.  Let's "retweet" it, truth be damned.

Boutique (noun): a business that serves specialized clientele; "a small investment boutique".

If Kennedy used the word, IF, it's far from sexist much less an insult*.

*This reeks of when BRIDGES had a problem with CEK using the word pedigree** because he did not know of the background of one of their alleged experts***.

**pedigree (noun): the recorded ancestry, especially upper-class ancestry, of a person or family.

***Just because you are niggardly in your use of the language, and have a small vocabulary, do not expect me or others to be the same.
