Interesting I thought the D played quite well last night night. Missed the last half of the third.  Cam had some good looks at  pucks.

Wilke with a big game tonight with a very heavy heart.  Parents, players and coaches of the U14 Omaha AAA program involved in a tragic accident.  Their assistant coach did not make it.  The hockey community isn't all that big and we all cross paths so prayers and thoughts to all involved.

If you told an NCAA player that he couldn't abide by the terms of Team Canada or Team USA for the WJC, yet the CHL will absolutely release players to play in that tourney, it would really hurt college recruiting for top talent.  Sucks for us, but it is what it is...if you want the Parises, Toews, Oshies, Boessers, Nelsons, Kristos, Grimaldis, Staffords, Schmaltzs...you gotta let the kids play for the red white and blue

Agreed.  But the kids from other countries are all playing.  If they played tonight it would not affect anything....other than risking injury.

Agreed.  We should be grateful we have players of that caliber and will continue to have them.   We have the talent to win this game without Jost, and It will do some of those guys good to know they can.
