UNDColorado Posted August 7, 2017 Posted August 7, 2017 Good article from Miller about Sac St transfer ketteringham: http://www.grandforksherald.com/sports/4308670-sacramento-state-transfer-quarterback-getting-comfortable-und Here is a great exerpt: Ketteringham said he's noticed a difference in UND's mentality and toughness, as opposed to Sacramento State, which struggled in the Big Sky Conference in his time there. "Football is a different animal up here," Ketteringham said. "It's a lot more intense and driven. At Sacramento, there was a little more go-with-the-flow. They're more determined here to win Big Sky championships. It's definitely an exciting thing. Look at this program, they're on the up and ups. It's a lot of fun to be part of." Edit: I forgot to add that I already like this kid! 1 1 Quote

What gives with these guys? WIU is also a team that could be 4-7 and be just out of the top 25. Quote

They even beat up on one another and come playoff time ther're not as good as they once were. Quote

Ndsu has carried the water but the conference has done well lately. Quote

nodak651 Posted August 7, 2017 Posted August 7, 2017 Cal Poly is over rated at the beginning of every season. Should not be ranked, IMO. Don't think they have ever finished higher than their pre season ranking. Ever. Quote

If you start out at #8 and lose your first FCS game of the season, you probably drop somewhere between 15-20 depending on who the loss is to. If you are unranked and you lose your first FCS game you would have to rattle off 3-4 wins in a row to crack the top 25 and then it is an uphill battle from there to improve your position. 3 Quote

Also, if we lost to Utah (assuming it is not a blowout) our ranking shouldn't be affected. Missery Sate and USD are must wins of course. Quote
Popular Post Sioux94 Posted August 7, 2017 Popular Post Posted August 7, 2017 UNI is the exception to this rule. They could start out at #18, lose their first two FCS games and move up to #17 based upon quality losses. 1 5 Quote

SkoHawks Posted August 8, 2017 Posted August 8, 2017 What a stable of RB's we have. Past two years we've averaged around 45 rushing attempts a game. Would like to see something like 15 carries to Santiago (plus touches in the pass game), 10-15 for the Manitoba Moose, 10 to JJ or Gordon, hot hand or whoever earns them in practice, leaving 5-10 for Keaton and the jets. And I've forgotten Captain America, might as well let him pound the rock a few times. Quote
nodak651 Posted August 8, 2017 Posted August 8, 2017 Any chance JJ also plays some snaps as Fullback? Quote
