Well, according to the protectors, law enforcement will take a whole arm for free.

I knew there was a reason for all these planes flying into the Chicago area. The place called Ohare must be the refueling station for all these attacks on the weather. I thought I got away from them by moving to WI. & they seem to have followed me here. I knew those white trails following those high flying Air Force jets were up to something.

Am I glad I don't go through life as paranoid as these people are. Unbelievable.

Speaking of missing arms, has there been any updates recently on the brave water protector that was so brutally butchered by the military establishment? ;)

She's playing the slots with her good arm at Prairie Knights Casino.

I was browsing the comments.

The guy that died in the Fargo plane crash recently worked for a company called Weather Modification Inc.

There website says:

Quote

Weather Modification, Inc., is a global atmospheric sciences company committed to continued advances in the field of weather modification.

Weather Modification Inc., was founded in 1961, in the small town of Bowman, ND. Bowman is located in an area of the state where the average rainfall is near desert amounts and hail is common. In order to preserve the livelihood of the agricultural community, two pilots/farmers decided to enter the forefront of weather modification.

I don't think Bowman ND is like a desert for rainfall and hail isn't really that common but regardless, I had no idea this was even a thing.

Next time it rains a little extra in the Red River Valley, the Fargo company could have produced it with "cloud seeding".

Any idea how old the pipeline in ND that had a significant leak this weekend was?

That pipeline may be under the "gathering" classification and may not have any of the strict requirements that the oil transmission lines have. If you read the story you can see there is a long record of noncompliance and they have had multiple incidents. I wouldn't trust that operator any day if they Wanted to build across the Missouri. Their track record gives the whole industry a bad name even though companies like this are very rare. You need to hold the government officials accountable if you want companies like this to clean up their act. I would be surprised if PHMSA shuts this line down for awhile until the integrity can be verified.

To a certain extent. Weather modification by planes is mostly used for farming purposes, called cloud seeding. Instead of having a hail storm ruin crop, they fly planes over and use  silver iodide complexes, artificial ice nuclei, to convert hail into rain. http://www.swc.nd.gov/arb/ndcmp/pdfs/q_a.pdf

but on a side note, this guy just thinks the gov. is controlling the weather against the protesters

And on the flip side they use it to increase precipitation.

Mind = Blown.

Yes, but very rarely. Some major ski resorts will use it to increase snowfall amounts.

The Fargo company has 40 aircraft. They do more than prevent hail and make snow for major ski resorts.

They make it rain!

Her father sure has been media silent. I'm sure before too long you'll see some sort of domestic terrorism or other Federal charges against her. ATF and joint terrorism task force don't take kindly to IEDs being used on law enforcement.

I understand they used molotov cocktails, rocks, etc, but did any of them actually use propane tanks as IEDs?  Could this simply be a case of her getting too close to the fire with her propane tank that she intended to use to keep warm in some way?

Please understand I'm not accusing you or any law enforcement of dishonesty on this, I just know sometimes these stories take on a life of their own.  Looking at the pics of her injuries, the broken tow chain seemed the most probable explanation to me, but I'm no doctor nor explosives expert.

Why is this on Sioux Sports/It makes the NCAA look very good when they said the name was "hostile & Abusive:  Could now add the fan based on this tread are racist.

If you are against protesters breaking the law, and intentionally trying to hurt law enforcement racist, then I guess I am. As part Native American I am not against the Indians that are protesting peacefully. Those that are dancing, praying, singing thats fine, no problem there, but those who are throwing Molotov Cocktails, blowing up propane tanks on bridges, lighting tires and vehicles on fire and creating hell for the farmers/ranchers living out there, thats the people I have problems with. And I am sure others on this board have problem with them too, and that does NOT make us racists, it makes us concerned, law abiding citizens.

My favorite one is seeing people say if you were a Sioux nickname supporter or wear the logo you are hypocritical for not standing with the protestors.

I compare it to loving my family but if they're on the wrong side of an issue I'm not agreeing with them just because I love them.

Why is this on Sioux Sports/There are thousands of like minded people like you/find a different site to talk about this issue/It has no place on the Sioux Sports Site

This is the Community forum and the protests are certainly having an impact on the North Dakota community.  As long as it doesn't stray into racism or too far into politics, I don't see a problem with it.  The other moderators are free to overrule me, if they feel differently.

..........at least none of us are rioting so that's a plus.

There is 1 thing we should all be able to agree on.  1 of us is on the 'Wrong Side of History'.

Ha-ha........ok. Go ahead and run with that "1".

.......and to be clear that phrase has become a grossly over used "Marxist" type sound bite spewed by the leftist wing in this country........ especially by a certain someone in the last 8 years.
