I talked to Clive Georges a few days ago.  He is back in Florida and was working out in Gainesville, hoping to catch the attention of a team in one of the Arena leagues.  It is sure too bad he had the injury issues.  A nice guy who had nothing but positive things to say about his time at UND - very good to hear!

The Detroit Lions appear to have uncovered a diamond in the rough. Golladay, a third-round pick out of Northern Illinois, was the most explosive player on the field Sunday when the Indianapolis Colts hosted the Lions. Though he only caught three passes, he went for 53 yards and caught two touchdowns, outscoring the home team all by himself. Those who have been watching this young man during training camp are not surprised, however. He’s been dominating his teammates in practice and appears to have all the physical tools to be consistently successful in this league.

I should h=of had more patience as I watched until the end of the third quarter. I was looking for 38 but did not see him.

He was on the kickoff team, which means he was on the field quite a bit as the Riders put up some good numbers. But as far as the defense, yeah, he hit the field once the game was in hand.

If it makes you feel better I left Kareem Hunt on my bench thinking there's no way he puts up big points against the Pats in New England to open the season. #imnotsmart
