Dalrymple and Burgum told the schools to cut, UND had a ton more sports than NDSU so now I believe we have only 1 more than SU. UND needed to cut travel dollars so the SL is a better choice than the Big Sky. Patty V waited a long time to accept another member not us, she wanted USD back in 2010 not both of us that’s why we ended up in the Big Sky. Whether or not you don’t want us as your rival doesn’t matter, history says otherwise.

Darryl under the states current leadership how important is SU? If  SU burnt down they rebuild if the other school did they bulldoze as they are currently doing. To many UND supporters think with there heart. 

If the Summitt didn't need a school would we even be talking about travel costs? The Summitt needed to be stabilized for other schools future.

TCU has the smallest stadium in the Big 12 and is still 26,000 bigger than the Fargodome. Just how much is a 45k stadium? Better save your pennies because as a Fargo taxpayer I am not paying for it.

The Summit needs a school because of eastern teams leaving, not I-94 teams.

Their style of play wasn’t sustainable for a run. Early season greatness and then then lose steam and Streveler can’t continue to get beat up each game and maintain his level of play.

Gotta admit they had one hell of a "one trick pony". That kid can sling the ball from numerous angles and positions. Plus hes pretty quick.

I'd argue that their style of play was dictated by their personnel. In any case, their style of play hasn't changed. If it's unsustainable now, it was unsustainable all along.

Obviously it was unsustainable from the beginning. That’s literally what it means. It’s fine to start but it can’t be maintained long term.
