SWSiouxMN Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 If UND is going to be in the Big Sky tourney, they need this one. They have made some improvements since they first matched up with Montana, Shanks has gotten his legs underneath him, Hooker has been solid. We need to defend home court in this one, anything less than a sweep is unacceptable. Splitting does nothing and losing both pretty much will end any serious hopes of getting in. (we would need to win out, which would mean sweep 3 out of 5 on the road, including UNC, SAC and PSU). Quote
sioux2013 Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 This is a must win as well as Saturday. Looking at the remaining schedule after these 2 games and I would say we are favored in only 1 of the remaining games ( Southern Utah). If we win both games this week and beat Southern Utah and the remaining games play out as they should we end up 7-11. I don't see us beating Portland St, Sac St. and N. Colorado on the road. Then the only other game at home besides S. Utah is N. Arizona and I don't see us beating them. We must steal at least a game against these other teams to have a chance to make the post season. With what Idaho has remaining also we could sneak in with only 7 wins however. 7 now may be the number but 8 I believe gets us in. Quote
forksandspoons Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 need a big crowd tonight. All the help this team can get, it needs at this point. Quote
gfhockey Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 I'm wearing Adidas in support of the team 3 Quote
UND-FB-FAN Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 I'm wearing Adidas in support of the team That's not a bad idea. Quote
jdub27 Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 I'm wearing Adidas in support of the team The football team? Not sure you'll be allowed courtside wearing the 3 stripes. Quote
siouxstudent Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 Montana -4. Big win for the Sioux men tonight! Quote
hoopster Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 slightly better shot of beating N. AZ. than Montana. Quote
UND1983 Posted February 13, 2015 Posted February 13, 2015 UM has 3 off. rebounds 2 mins in. Gotta stop that soon Quote
UND92,96 Posted February 13, 2015 Posted February 13, 2015 Turnovers are killing UND right now. Quote
UND92,96 Posted February 13, 2015 Posted February 13, 2015 Montana kind of reminds me of a good NCC team from back in the day--an active 6'7" post and several good 3-point shooters. They're not going to dazzle you with athleticism, that's for sure. Quote
southpaw Posted February 13, 2015 Posted February 13, 2015 This is some pretty horrific officating Quote
jdub27 Posted February 13, 2015 Posted February 13, 2015 Q continues to amaze with his passing and vision. Really excited about a Shanks/Shields/Cashman rotation the next few years. Shields really seems to attack rebounds, just needs to put on some pounds. Need to put together a little run here and tie it up. Refs seeing some interesting things no one else seems to be able to see. Quote
Cratter Posted February 13, 2015 Posted February 13, 2015 Haven't gotten outscored a bunch in the second half yet. Which is nice to see.... Quote
Hawkster Posted February 13, 2015 Posted February 13, 2015 Haven't gotten outscored a bunch in the second half yet. Which is nice to see.... My thoughts as well, but then Jones still has a lot of time left to blow it. Quote
The Sicatoka Posted February 13, 2015 Posted February 13, 2015 So should I be watching this on the WatchBigSky app or on MidcoSN in HD? Quote
southpaw Posted February 13, 2015 Posted February 13, 2015 My thoughts as well, but then Jones still has a lot of time left to blow it. These unnecessary fouls and missed free throws are definitely on Jones Quote
Oxbow6 Posted February 13, 2015 Posted February 13, 2015 Watching this game....UND has better overall talent but just can't stay out of their own to make a decisive run. Quote
