ringneck28 Posted April 10, 2014 Share Posted April 10, 2014 My keys to the game are 3. 1, und has to come out and be physical with the Gophers. Not to many teams were and they get comfortable. Lay some LEGAL wood on them and let them know that it's going to be a long physical game. 2, stay out of the penalty box. We all know this is a rivalry game, but UND has to be smart with their emotions. 3, UND has to get Wilcox moving and try scoring the dirty greasy style. If UND does that, they will win. Since we're not as physical as in previous years we won't have to worry about a parade to the penalty box thanks to hockey east officials who aren't used to our old level of physicality. But not get penalties for being on the ice when something happens like Hextal. I've never seen anyone get screwed more than him on that type of stuff. Least skilled Sioux team to be in a frozen four since I've been watching them. So why the heck not? I'm going to keep my Golden Gopher's national championship pick. I never pick anything right. There was no indication of how many the Gophers scored, or who won the game. UND is 27-2-1 when scoring at least 3 goals. I am very impressed and surprised that KFGO has TWO of their main personalities (Joel Heitkamp and Mike McFeely) broadcasting live from the Frozen Four.
