That happens to be Tom Nevala, Notre Dame associate athletic director. I'm sure he pushed for Notre Dame hosting a regional and he didn't want to be shown up by North Dakota when more people show up to the Ralph. Faison is on the committee also. Close to lots of teams in Minnesota so if god forbid UND doesn't make it it will still have a good showing. Absolutely. A full arena looks good on TV. But.....it would be better atmosphere-wise to have it in the Ralph...duh. I'm sure it has been brought up already but when do tickets get released for this? I wouldn't say he has been a rock star either but I think he is trying his hardest to position UND athletics to be one of the top dogs. Got UND into the Big Sky and through transition. Helped create a new hockey conference to keep the hockey program from being pulled down by teams with less resources.
