Word is Wentz will start week one if he is healthly.  Talk about getting fed to the wolves with very little preseason play. As a ND kid I wish him the best.

All this after Philly said Wentz probably wouldn't even be dressed and on the sideline this season. Hope it goes well. Tough spot to be placed in.

This trade tells you how close the front office thinks they are. A first round pick and Philly already paid $11 million of the $18 million due to Bradford for the year. If they are as close as they think, that 1st round pick is in the 20's. The conditional 2018 4th rounder turns into a 3rd rounder if the Vikings make the NFC Championship or a 2nd rounder if they win the Super Bowl. Didn't give up any significant pieces and with how some of Minnesota's 1st round picks have panned out recently, I think it's a win for Minnesota, of course that is barring Bradford not breaking.

Philly saves a little face, they basically ended up paying $11 million, a 3rd (#77) and 4th rounder (#100) in 2016 and 2nd rounder in 2018 plus likely moving back 10-15 spots in the 1st round in 2017 (difference between where their pick and Minnesota's will be) to move up 6 spots to get Wentz and a 2017 4th round pick.

Thinking about it a bit more, Bradford could be a pretty nice fit into the Vikings offense.  I wonder how long it will take to get him up to speed on the offense system?

And Hill holding court for a few games is not a bad thing. He seems pretty solid this year, too.

Here is how the Vikings defense can contain the Packers:

1) Put Trae Waynes on Jordy Nelson and tell Waynes to stick to him like Velcro the entire game. Then put a safety over the top. That will force Rodgers to beat us with their other receivers, which are pedestrian at best.

2) Keep Rodgers in the pocket and smack him around a little. Get him out of his comfort zone. If you let him sit back there all game, he will pick you apart.

3) Don't let them get the running game going. That will make #1 and #2 possible.

AP blows out his knee.  Younger RBs take control of the game and season forcing him to retire.

I become a Vikings fan again.  They win and go on to finally win a Super Bowl.  Fantasy over.

In the meantime, go Broncos!

Bradford looks good Hell almost great - He has some gunslinger in him

I Love this Defense's Instincts Zim almost has them there

Not like he has been able to ad much this yr - I know it makes the D do things that could make Bradford All Pro if he can stay healthy which looks really doubtful with this O Lines play ? ? ?

Trae Waynes is lucky he got an INT to make his play tonight look respectable.  He was awful out there.

3 fumbles (1 lost) and a pick......was expecting that from Bradford not ARog. Wasn't impressed with either team to be honest. Bradford was really good but there is a reason Philly shipped him out for a FCS rookie. Still 14 regular season games left. I dislike AP a lot but take no joy in seeing him go down with a knee injury. Hopefully it isn't career ending at age 31.

..........and once again Magic Mike feels he needs to be the smartest man in the stadium when he gives up the FG to tie it at 10 early in the second only to send Starks....... not 407 lb Lacey......on a 4th and 1 dive. The bright side is DC Capers schemed to basically allow one guy...Diggs...to beat GB. Least they held him under 200 yards. Ugh........

Man it felt like the main Packer offensive weapon was Viking Defensive penalty yards.  Bradford did look pretty good, but yes he needs to be protected better.  Diggs was awesome.  Was floored when Green Bay went for it on that 4th down.   Sounds like AP's injury might not be as bad as it looked right now (or is being reported this morning).

Rhodes needs to get back healthy and fast.

He is still learning how to be physical without drawing PI penalties. He has all the physical tools to be a great corner in this league.
