JohnboyND7
Well if that's the case we should cancel the promotion. AGS is the gold standard. Each school should do whatever they want obviously, but in all seriousness, AGS is the biggest collection of FCS fans from multiple schools. Pretty good barometer of the country as far as FCS ball goes.

JohnboyND7
Not really, it has become more of an extension of bisonville than anything else. For now, it kinda has. The dominant team is going to have more posters than others....when YSU was doing well last year, they had a lot of fans come out of the woodwork to AGS, til their season tanked. Dagger
http://www.bisonvill...es-or-Less-quot BV is making fun of the ticket delivery, maybe it would make them feel better if the tickets were fake or some other illegal activity involving the team was going on. I guess that only occurs for the FU team. Bison fans making fun of gimmicks to sell tickets at UND. They should be careful. Not very long ago when times were a little lean at NDSU radio stations were giving away tickets for their games by the fistful. The radio announcer wouldn't ask if you want 1 or 2. He would simply say how many do you want for free. You could get as many as you wanted. And course Stop N'Go was selling tickets for $5. You could basically buy a season ticket for 25 or 30 dollars. Bison fans have short memories.
CMSioux
What's wrong with having some fun - it's called creative marketing. Those that want to go negative will always find a way. Bisonswille just can't get over UND it's a pathetic group of twenty-somethings with nothing better to do that constantly search out things about UND - a school they claim to have no interest in. I am certain there will be postings about Pat Behns over there soon
darell1976
Who cares what other people think. I would be willing to bet the community responds well to this. It's a chance for fans to meet the staff and players, it's called community relations. NDSU football players has a special relationship with its community it's called community service (if they show up).

Bison fans have short memories. A.) how long ago was that? B.) much bigger venue(can't imagine NDSU has had trouble getting 10,000 butts in the seats in a very long time) C.) tough to remember much after all the tailgating people have gotten the last couple years

The box score will say one thing, the pics from the game will say another. There was a massive discrepancy. But, once they started winning they never even came close to the 10k number. UND1983
Their time is coming, real soon. I would be surprised if Bohl stays after this year. They have a major gap in recruiting classes, lots of defections in there.

They have a major gap in recruiting classes, lots of defections in there. Bohl is not recruiting Minnesota against Tim Brewster anymore...... That fact alone has helped lead to back to back natty's for SU. Back on topic, sounds like a chance at getting some free tickets, and meet some people, rubes love that stuff! Redneksioux
Yeah these guys didn't really break the law, isn't a big deal, Yada Yada ....why don't these guys face up to their actions? Because they are long gone or this just isn't that big of a deal? I know und is just a lawn mower away but you know what? Up here there are consequences. Down at the ag school it's nothing but excuses. When is the last time you've seen und or former und players involved in a voter fraud ring? When is the last time you've seen three former or current und players skip town on their charges and end up with warrants? How long will it take before the coach or ad at fu are held accountable for the character of their athletes? Like father like son. Lead by example. Sure the fcs championships may shed good light on the state. These situations more than negate that.

Redneksioux
So UND punishes former players now? No bud they don't need to. We don't have former players acting like scum around grand forks and then disappearing. We have plenty of former players that like to visit town and continue to be a part of the community. Maybe you do in Fargo too? Or is this just bad luck? This crap gives our state a bad name and it irks me. This doesn't get to you for giving your city and school's leadership a bad name? Maybe that's part of the problem.
