Mariucci Posted September 21, 2012 Posted September 21, 2012 You mean evidence like "it happened at a team party"? What do you do at parties? So a team has a party and that alone is enough evidence to suspend the captians? Makes sense. Quote

Mariucci Posted September 21, 2012 Posted September 21, 2012 I can't tell if you are being facetious or not. Of course I am. Every team has parties every year. That alone is not evidence that someone should be punished like bigskyvikes implied. Maybe more will come out about Reilly's injury, maybe something did happen to warrant a supsension but at this point there is zero evidence that anything bad happended. Quote
The Sicatoka Posted September 21, 2012 Posted September 21, 2012 So a team has a party and that alone is enough evidence to suspend the captians? Makes sense. Depends. Did the coaches set down a "no parties" edict that wasn't followed? We don't know; we can only speculate with the little that we actually know. That's why I'm saying wait for the whole ugly story to come around. Quote
siouxczech29 Posted September 21, 2012 Posted September 21, 2012 I vote that people stop speculating. I second the motion. Quote

Hahaha, please show everyone on here where I said the goof player should be penalized? I hate all this new PC BS, especially on my favorite team the Fighting Sioux! They are kids, let them do many many many years of tradition and get the freshies wasted!!!! Quote
tnt Posted September 21, 2012 Posted September 21, 2012 I see Lucia is quoted as saying he is disappointed "for" Conner, not disappointed "in" Connor, so maybe the fall didn't involve alcohol. If it does involve alcohol, then Lucia should be disappointed "in" and "for" him. Hate to learn that lesson the hard way, depending on the circumstances. Quote
dagies Posted September 21, 2012 Posted September 21, 2012 Riding a moped? Did they revoke his man-card for a month for that? Well, he did commit to the gophers. Quote
DamStrait Posted September 21, 2012 Posted September 21, 2012 Riding a moped? Did they revoke his man-card for a month for that? His man-card was revoked for life when he committed to UMN. Quote
remington_270 Posted September 21, 2012 Posted September 21, 2012 Personally, I'd prefer to not run with rumors. My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with the girl who saw Ferris pass out at 31 Flavors last night. I guess it's pretty serious. Quote

as15 Posted September 21, 2012 Posted September 21, 2012 http://www.inforum.c...group/homepage/ This kind of confuses me, the cops were never called but the state attorney can give out MIC after the fact on alleged alcohol consumption? I didn't realize that was legal. Quote
yellowknife Posted September 21, 2012 Posted September 21, 2012 When their taken to ER for a condition caused by alcohol..kinda hard not to charge them Quote

82SiouxGuy Posted September 21, 2012 Posted September 21, 2012 The police have been involved since the beginning. This is from the original article written about the incident. But David Jones, an assistant state’s attorney for Grand Forks County, said UND police reports on their investigation were turned into the prosecutor’s office late Monday afternoon. “I’m expecting a little more documentation,” Jones said Tuesday in explaining the process. He expects to make a decision about whether to bring charges against anyone later in the week. Until then, he said he can’t comment on the information in the police reports. I'm not sure why people keep thinking that the police weren't involved. They investigated and have filled out reports. More details are going to be released on Monday when the charges are officially filed. Quote
Wilbur Posted September 22, 2012 Posted September 22, 2012 Glad that the captains weren't the only ones to be punished in this whole ordeal. The university provided documentation to the police which I believes therefore gives them the right to file MIC charges against these young men. A college kid getting an MIC....GOODNESS!!!!! You still have to wonder "what if" in regards to how public this goes without the NDSU incident coming into play. Quote
yzerman19 Posted September 22, 2012 Posted September 22, 2012 His man-card was revoked for life when he committed to UMN. You can tell him that...he is one thick necked bull... Quote

WiSioux Posted September 22, 2012 Posted September 22, 2012 So who is left for the season opener in Alaska??? Quote
SWSiouxMN Posted September 22, 2012 Posted September 22, 2012 Lets see if I got this right: Suspended for Anchorage: Kristo Knight Mac Rowney O'Donnell Suspended for Alaska: Kristo Gaarder Panzarella Pattyn That about right? http://www.undsports.com/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=13500&ATCLID=205690593 Quote
Wilbur Posted September 22, 2012 Posted September 22, 2012 That Friday night game against Anchorage will be a replay of last year. Talk about short bench.... Not the greatest of starts off the ice.... Quote
yzerman19 Posted September 22, 2012 Posted September 22, 2012 So what did Kristo and O'Donnell do "unrelated to the team party"? I can't imagine these guys are doing anything outside the norm- this crackdown is ridiculous. Quote
crb1 Posted September 22, 2012 Posted September 22, 2012 I guess my question is will there be more suspension when the MIP's are released on Monday or can we assume that Gaarder, Panzarella, Pattyn and O'Donnell are the 4. Quote
