SIOUXELEVENS Posted April 29 Posted April 29 Lots of talent here or coming here it’s up to the coaching staff to help them develop and use them correctly. Quote

Popular Post AlphaMikeFoxtrot Posted May 1 Popular Post Posted May 1 Zakreski 2 goals and an assist in a losing effort tonight. Taken right after his assist. They aren't making it out of this round (down 3-0) but are on borrowed time anyways. He played well, of the 8 scored against the only time I recall he was on the ice was when the person he was replacing had a bad change leading to an odd man rush. Nothing he could do but watch, but it didn't stop him from sprinting to get into the play. 6 Quote
AlphaMikeFoxtrot Posted May 2 Posted May 2 Clutch goal by Zakreski tonight. Stepped up the last few games with the team floundering. 4 Quote
brianvf Posted May 6 Posted May 6 Wonder if McKamey will stick around with the Vees moving to WHL or if he'll go to USHL...would be nice having him in Fargo to watch him develop closer: 2 Quote

He is currently on the Penticton Vees, who are moving to the WHL. His WHL rights are with Victoria. Is Penticton just like “okay Victoria you can just have our player who has been playing with us for a year?” I would love if someone with the WHL would come out and explain how this whole situation is going to work. I suppose going to the USHL would avoid this mess, but I don’t think it’s super likely. Yes, it's a confusing situation for sure. They must have figured something like this would come up when they moved to the WHL. Quote
nodakgirl93 Posted May 6 Posted May 6 Or.... what if he prefers to stay in the BCHL which team would get him?? 🤔 I know he probably wouldn't prefer that but funny to think about it. Quote
Popular Post brianvf Posted May 6 Popular Post Posted May 6 This is a good decision from Lindberg...he'll be more ready to go right into the lineup in the fall of 26 rather than being the #7/8 dman this year. 5 Quote
ChadR Posted May 6 Posted May 6 Andrew O'Neill taken 198th overall by Fargo. Not a great sign for us. Only dressed 1 game at U-18's also. Quote

Schlossman says he’s an NHL pick this summer. I guess we’ll see. Interesting a guy who gets passed up for 197 other junior player would be drafted. Quote

I would guess Penticton had to have known this would be what would happen when they decided to move up to the WHL. Quote
burd Posted May 6 Posted May 6 Maybe Grand Forks won't be such a change for McKamey in one sense. Cowichan Bay is gorgeous, but it's a little isolated in that it's a pretty good ferry ride away from the world that isn't Vancouver Island. Quote
Wilbur Posted yesterday at 12:48 AM Posted yesterday at 12:48 AM Jundt headed to Calgary. The new normal for the 17 year olds has begun. Quote

I’m not worried about O’Neil at all. Athletic kid that needs to play a year of juniors. Should go 5-7th rd Quote

No idea what his assets or liabilities are, but I wonder if guys that need to develop the offensive side of their game would be good candidates for the CHL, and guys that need to round out their two way game could benefit by playing against older players in the USHL. Will be interesting to see where college coaches prefer their recruits to play. Quote
