Zub went off with what looked like a head injury today, so maybe JBD will play in the next game. I think he must be an "extra" defenseman right now. Can't see anything about him being hurt. Quote

Popular Post AlphaMikeFoxtrot Posted October 27 Popular Post Posted October 27 Cole Smith with his first goal of the year for the Preds. I still remember hearing that we had a commitment from a Branierd kid out the MJHL and thought he was another Coltyn Sanderson depth role player. What a diamond in the rough he wound up being. 6 Quote

Popular Post brianvf Posted October 31 Popular Post Posted October 31 Loved watching Danny wear the green n white! He was such a good Sioux guy. One of my favorite Kristo memories was from the Final Five. We had the same tickets every year for like 3-4 years and the same group of Gopher fans had the same tickets one row behind us. One of those Goofer fans hated Kristo so much because he went to UND instead of UMN. Every single time Kristo had the puck, he'd say "f#$in Kristo!". Still to this day, my friend group and I say "f#$in Kristo" as a joke to each other. 5 Quote

AlphaMikeFoxtrot Posted October 31 Posted October 31 Kristo's play backed up his swagger. I remember us being down to Holy Cross at home (Jan 2013 I believe) and he just took over on the power play to either tie or take the lead. You could feel the tension at the Ralph evaporate with the celebration. EDIT: both the tying and GWG were products of his power play prowess. Thank you Goon for preserving these highlights: 2 Quote
