I'd imagine he's in business somewhere...he wasn't going to play pro.  He's got  a great work ethic and family connections

Signed recently with Orlando in the ECHL.

He did, and had a pretty good season.

played for Frisk Aasker last season. I nearly purchased a Gaarder jersey from them - still might.

Were any of you in this picture?

This is cool, wish I could have watched!

I wasn't in the picture, but I would have paid money to watch the game.

(Hint, hint, fundraising for a good cause ...)

Just think, charge admission, each player wears the white team or green team Jersey with their name number and the logo they played for! Each one sold after the game!

Oh boy, I'd try buy one of them! Maybe everyone autographs each jersey, just think of the money they could bring in!

Nick made the Blackhawks roster.Expected to start 4th line center. Cags suffered a hip injury Thursday night. Not going to help his chances.

If he's really dinged up it likely cost him a roster spot- dang, he had earned one.  Just too easy if he starts the year on IR to keep him in the AHL.

good for Nick- he's gonna have to work to keep that bottom 6 role- not try to play a top 6 game from there

If he keeps working on puck pursuit and makes another quantum leap like he did last year, he will fit perfectly in their system.   They need forwards that read plays and react (and pursue) to do PK; if he gets a spot on PK its a solid sign that he'll be staying up.    Lot of their other bottom six that didn't PK were the first ones to go down.   Go Nick!

There was anticipation that Stecher had to go to Utica since he wouldn't have to clear waivers to get there. Canucks lost a D that way last year that made the Blackhawks roster this year. Couldn't let that happen again. He will be first call up and will get lots of ice in the A.
