Boeser stays in Vancouver - $50.8 million for 7 years.

I'm happy for Brock and glad that he did not go the Wild so that Wild fans can't make him a scapegoat like Zach Parise.

Lots of other bs that comes into play with joining your hometown team too. One of the reasons why Nelson chose to sign with Colorado.

I recall Suter being scapegoated big time, Parise not so much.

Tyson Jost has a new deal

Jost should have stayed another year at North Dakota to really dominate. But I bet the fact that Colorado was horrific in 2016-17 made him overly eager to sign and get NHL games right away.

Ya look what that 1 extra year did for Ryan Leonard, he didn’t score all that much in the playoffs but he was definitely noticeable for Washington. Seems like that extra year can help sky rocket a player’s confidence to another level.

It’s feels like Jost is one more 1 year deal away from signing an over seas deal.

True...but at least he gets to come to the rink everyday.

Like the move. Have to wonder if Schneekloth would have been promoted from the AHL to the Avs instead of going to Seattle

Go back a few pages on this thread

You’re right.  I learned from @siouxkid12 a page ago that Parise would have prevented the 2016 and 2017 Stanley Cup champions from winning anything at all, if he signed with them instead of Minnesota.
